Decided to go back to single coil, so I wrapped some of the Ti wire I got in & put it in the ChiNarda. 28g, 5 wrap spaced, 3mm ID. Wicked with rayon. Coming in at 5.3. So I'll be testing the B cell tomorrow with that build.

Well that's a soup sandwich if I ever saw one... I don't know if the bottle moves up or the atty moves down to puonk (pump-squonk?), but I see a smashed spring contact either way...among other problems. Sorry if that was posted as a contender for something, but...
Well said... No, not my concept.

Evidently the Goon 1.5 drops Friday should me do a run? I have been kicking around the concept of an Ultem single coil reducer for the Goon. It turns out the new goon is built off the same deck prints as the old goon but uses stainless posts, plates, and better hardware so if I did start making the SCRs they would work for both the old and the new version. I have had the Goon SCR in my plans for months but it's one of those projects that got pushed to the side in favor of the LBC Jr. Who is feeling a single coil reduced Goon?

I'm in for 2. Goon 22mm.

Switched back to the goon dual coil. The single 28g Ti was a bit anemic. I'll have to twist some to get the vape I like. Anyway. I seem to be getting the same if not better life from the B as I did the A battery. 3/4 through a bottle & battery just under 1/2.
What wattage? Theoretically the B cell should actually do better than the A cell at 35w or less. I would bet even at 35w the A cell comes up to temp or wattage significantly faster though. I'm actually trying to figure out if the 21700 cell will fit for even better performance. I suppose it's all in what you are looking for. Some folks like shiny artsy bobs and bits, I like pushing the envelope for performance.

Question for you guys:
I'm considering doing the LBC jr in aluminum built more to the LBC200 spec (crazy tight tolerances, carbon fiber plates, annodized) the pricing would be closer to the LBC200 cost.

I suppose what I'm really asking is what direction do,you think I should go? Back to cnc precision or just keep pumping out 3d. Personally I would love to have a true LBC jr but I'm not dropping 15k to make that happen on a whim.

IMHO, having two different mods at two different price points is better options. Especially for people who can't or don't want to spend $400+ for a regulated squonker.

I've seen recent trend of seeing a bunch of mech squonkers coming to the market at very similar price to LBC Jr. - and, I am perplexed at what appears to be fairly low demand for LBC Jr. on this forum.

I think the issue stems from disdain for hype as well as that I don't design for artsy, I design for performance and function. Take one of my mods apart, take an Italian regulated apart and you will see the difference. Huge wires vs tiny shelacced wires. Serviceable and replaceable contacts. I learned early on that simple is always more reliable as it pertains to mods be it a mech or regulated.

Tom, I'm on the list for the LBC jr. what would the cost be for the LBC jr and 2 batteries? Just asking you so I can send a check to you. Thank you, man.
I was waiting to post the doc due to the errors on it. (I'm picky about my Docs also) (Poor Chad). I was going to try to streamline the ordering process and have one Doc to serve both locations but I don't think that's going to be the best solution. Seems copy/paste lists have served us well so far let's just keep it simple and stick with it. I suppose I have been a bit lax in posting costs and details and for that I'm sorry. No excuses. My bad. I will do a posting with all the details and a few pics.
