I read a very interesting and detailed post on "Reddit" about the DNA 200 and many seem to think that you would be wise to hold off on this chip for a while until any bugs are worked out . Some seem to think it will be a much more polished product down the line including the software.
"We are experiencing a delay with our shop's processor. We apoligize (their spelling) for this and will have it resolved as soon as possible."
Yep, ordered mine last night, ordered the black frame DNA200 (although at the time I thought it was all black).
Decided to go with the same configuration as well. Spent all night deciding between the two as I felt it was a tough choice lol. I have yet to hold an SX in my hand as I'm still waiting on my custom box. But since everything is swappable I figured I would get the DNA in case I may of wanted in the future, and just buy a new sled, chipset etc. If I wanted the other setups.
I think you made a good choice, as much as I like my M class, and the 350J, I feel like the DNA200 brings more to the table (in theory, I don't have one yet).
Now we need a countdown until August 15th, heh.
Any images of the DNA200 model? Curious how they addressed the battery and the balance charger.
No dice yet on that, so all the images thus far seen are of the SX variant
So people are ordering the DNA200 w/o seeing it? Have they mentioned what battery is in it?
It will use a 3S 1100 mah lipo pack.
I thought the DNA200 had a balance board for lipos included?
According to the data sheet it is included with the chip set. As well as mentioning down the road that they'll have an option for those wishing to use 3x 18650s. Would be silly not to include the balance board charger cosidering that it needs it especially for battery monitoring, well evolv's charger that is.

Small sample size I know but the DNA version is outselling the sx version by a large margin, and that's with the battery info in limbo and no real visuals of the DNA version besides that side by side render. That's a good sign for Evolv and hopefully the trend continues.
For me it was an easy choice, already have a SX350J mod, and wanted a DNA200 to try out.
Well, I was going to wait for the Cloudmaker site but I was getting stir crazy and ordered from Smog just now. 10 bucks more, but 90mls of juice is included so it's actually a better deal, if I like the juice that is. I went silver DNA simply because it will hide scratches better.
