Maybe it's me, but I just don't get the whole "sub-ohm" or "blowing clouds" thing.

Call me simple, but I'd much rather find the sweetspot- where my juice shines- with optimum flavor, satisfying throat hit, and just the right amount of vapor

Thank you

well, try to imagine what it is with non smoker/non vapers. They don't get the whole "suck a stick, blow some smoke" thing.

one ain't no more ridiculous than the other.

no matter the cloud size, blowing smoke is kinda pointless/useless no matter what.

at least, cloud chasers make it somewhat fun and challenging. Cloud chasing is all about the challenge, it's not as easy as it seems to make a good cloud generating build. it takes a lot of patience, research, testing, failing, and that in itself is fun.

for cloud chasers, vaping has become much more than just a substitute for analogs, it has become a hobby, a way to connect with other people, challenge one another, learn new skills and acquire new knowledge. it's not about analogs anymore, it has become a positive and constructive part of their way of life.

if you don't get subohming and clouds, you should probably stay out of threads like these and stick to the flavor chaser threads.

cloud chasing is a hobby much like motorcycles/mountain climbing/rc racing/video games/fishing/etc. some people get it, some people don't.

i quit cigarettes because of cloud chasing, and i'm sure a bunch of other people have also. my daily setup is a 0.9-1.0 ohm single coil genesis, but i do keep a 0.2 ohm dual coil dripper around to blow clouds once in awhile. it's enjoyable in a similar way smoking hookah is enjoyable with a bunch of friends.

I said " I don't get sub-ohm or blowing clouds", I didn't say I dislike those who do. I visit these threads to learn what others get out of it; who knows....maybe I'm missing something.

Thanks for the advise, but I'll visit whatever thread I like.

Yeah, me too...my "sweet spot" happens to come from .2 ohm dual coils. What are you even saying? Everyone is trying to get the flavor/throat hit/vapor amount they like, just your preference is for weaker builds than some people. What's not to get?

Somewhat of a noob here but have been doing a lot of research. I wanna get into cloud chasing, I have my heart set on a solid copper Hades with silver plated contacts, however people are telling me I won't be able to blow big clouds with this mod, they're saying if I want to blow clouds I need a 18650 tube. Is this true? I didn't think the size of the tube would affect cloud production, but according to these guys it does. What do you guys think about this? open to suggestions too.

My daily setup is a 0.19 ohm dual 22 gauge microcoil Stillare RDA. Still want more vapor.

had to log in to reply to this, but whoever told you this information is a complete ....... The "tube" is what holds
your battery. A 26650 battery holds more power than a 18650, current best 26650 I've seen is a 50 amp drain and
best 18650 is like I believe 35 amp drain. With sub-ohming you'd want a good battery to start with and obviously the 26650
would beat the 18650.

More or less how you build your coils on your RDA will depend if you get big clouds or not (make sure your battery is safe for the ohm
your blowing)
