Cloupor Hana Modz Clone Problem..

I just got a Cloupor Hana mod clone from 101vape in the mail today. It works GREAT with my kayfuns at around 1 ohm +.. But anything below 8... barely even sizzles at all wattages and all resistances ive tried.. Is this a common problem? They said they'd replace it, but thats even more money ill need to spend to send it back to them and pay for the shipping back.

Your missing out on it's potential if you're trying to build low resistance coils for it.

Build higher resistance, larger coils, with thicker wire....then crank the wattage up.

Currently running a 1.6Ω, 26ga wire, 12 wraps at 2.2mm at 25 watts in my Expromizer. Friggin' Outstanding. Blows anything away in terms of vapor AND flavor that I could run on a mech.

I experimented a lot with that. Here is the problem, a 1ohm dripper or genny SUCKS on a mech.
My cloupor is my main ride, but here and there I keep it old school and rock a mech.

.66ohms for me. Happy on the Cloupor, happy on a mech.

101vapes says they'd replace it. Theyre even sending me a prepaid shipping label! The stuff they sell is kind of hit and miss.. but their customer service is absolutely phenomenal. They've been my only vendor for the last couple months.

I bought my Hana clone from 101vapes as well. It works great for me. I started with my RDAs on it, and they work fine to about 0.5ohms at 30 watts.

I've played with multiple builds, and I think my Kayfun at 1.0 ohm is best suited for the Cana Mod. I'll fiddle with the wattage anywhere from 14.5 watts to 30 watts (depending on how much battery I want to drain).

I definitely wouldn't recommend subohming on it even though it is possible. I've hit the "Too Hot" mark on the mod a couple times from chain vaping.

Vape on!

101vapes has been great for me so far. They are my battery vendor of choice no doubt. However, the Cana I got from them has been hit and miss also. I see it more as a Cloupor issue though. Mine will sometimes take 3 button taps to 'wake-up' and vape, and I was away for about 10 days, didn't remove the battery but 5 clicked it to turn it off, no atty on top, and when I got home the battery was reading at 2.3 Volts on my DMM. It was reading about 3/4's on the battery on the readout before I left. I've been keeping an eye on it since and haven't noticed it draining off the battery on it's own, but I don't trust it.

I hope you get one that works. I've been sticking with my mechs. Those I trust.

I got mine from fluid vapes and zero problems. Sounds like you got a v1, the fixed those problems on the v2. I can leave it home for 2 days while traveling and then first click vape no problem. My battery lasts a while and switched to a 3100 purple for even mire cape time.

Possibly a bad unit too, ask 101 to exchange it.

It started working properly out of now where...? Now Im noticing that nearly everything I put on it sits crooked. It doesnt take the one click to wake up. Its just ready to use %100 of the time but, I'm still gonna send it in. I also noticed that the Green LED doesn't light up when its fully charged. I just DO NOT trust this mod.

I believe i have a version 1 and it's been great , Clint was right no issues. I don't consider needing to click twice to wake up a problem , it reads ohm's correctly and has never fired on it's own , that would be scary lol.

The screen comes on at times but apparently thats caused by other electronics being nearby . All in all very pleased.

The only problem I've encountered has been with the ohms being slightly off, it varies depending on how high the build is ohms wise. It might never have bothered me if I hadn't picked up other devices with evolv dna30 chips in them. Now it bothers me a little bit. For 70$ though I'm willing to overlook that. I've heard it's been fixed in the newer versions. I may pass this cloupor hana mod on to a friend in need and pick up a newer version(or an rDNA).

The screen coming on randomly does happen with mine, but I wouldn't call it a problem. The only problem I can see would be battery drain, but I'm not sure how significant it would be. I usually put an atty on top, set the watts to my liking, then lock the watts and put it in stealth mode until I change attys.
