Cloupor Mini Mod 30W

I've been using Panasonic NCR18650B 3.7V 3400mAh Rechargeable Li-ion batteries in my Vamos...mainly because they're 3400 mAh.

But they're 10 Amp.

Would they work in the Clouper Mini?

Based on the limits of this device (0.45 ohm minimum / 30 watt max), I'd say yes, (8.77A draw at those limits) but it's really bordering on the edge of the battery so I'd recommend against it for safety's sake.

I would say no BUT if you don't vape over 20w, you should be ok. I'm not sure how the Cloupor chipset would react to a low amp battery. Most just shut down or reset. If it does try to draw the amps, your battery could vent or blow up (absolute worst case). Panasonic make great batteries though.

They're 2c, 6.8 amps, I believe (and not safe chemistry). I wouldn't use them in a high watt device.

I ordered 12/19 and it showed 2 days yesterday and now the ETA is 1/2/15. The scheduled to ship date is static from when you first place the order (1/6/15 for me too). If it comes early, it will ship early. They won't hold your order for an extra 4 days.

Hi gillas. Sorry to hear this issue. I understand your anger. As I checked with our product department, they updated the shipping time to 20 business days on product page aiming to fulfill the existing orders which was placed with the item displayed as ships in 12 business days first.

This item SKU 2032101 is pre-sale model by Cloupor and it is not officially released yet. Per the information from Cloupor news published on 12th Dec, it will be released in 15 days counting from the publishing date. While per the specific information from our supplier, the item can be released on 10th Jan(approx) only. Thus the existing orders might need additional time to be shipped.

Due to some uncertain factors, such as the pre-sales on each vendor is still going on and the item is not released officially yet, the supplier can't provide us a definite stocking date for those existing orders for now.

We apologize that this may have mislead you to think that your order will only be shipped in 20 business days while it was displayed as ships in 12 working days when the order was placed. We should have marked an ETA for existing orders instead to avoid confusion. While in this case there is no ETA temporarily.

Regarding the batteries, I'm with KTMRider, I'd go Samsung 25R or LG HE2 cells in this mod, something rated 20A continuous minimum so that you have more Amp headroom.

It's definitely the safer option. You can pick up a pair of 25r or HE2 on Amazon for under $15 shipped. They're 2500mah, 20a cont, 35a burst (60 sec) and both are very similar in performance (almost identical). I've been using HE2's I bought from Amazon in my rDNA 40 and Hana clones and they'll last a full day at 10-16w.

I got some Turnigy 1200mah Lipos delivered yesterday. Still waiting on a KF v4 clone, puzzle drip tip, misc parts to build a hana box and of course the Cloupor Mini.

Actually, my KF v4 shipped a couple of days early. I saw those on Best Vape but they're Tobeco and not the best clones, IMO. I'm waiting for the EHPro black v4.

The two Lite + are these..

The two Lites came from Angelcigs (cheap)
Kayfun Lite Rebuildable Atomizer

And the 3.1, I purchased from a local vape store, also the two SMY Lite + from the same store.

I bought "M tanks" from Fasttech and they work great, seems to have completely stopped the occasional leaking issues from the air hole.

The KFL+ has been out for a while so there's a lot of really good clones. The v4 hasn't been out a month yet and it's more complicated than the KFL+ or 3.1. I have 3 EHPro's (2x KFL+ v2, 1x KFL+) and 2 Infinite clones (KFL+ v2 and 3.1). The EHPro KFL+ v2's are the best ones and I've heard more than a few people say it's better than the authentic. That held me back from buying an authentic.

Nope. I bought them as backups for my VS DNA 30 and see if it'll work in the Hana mini clone I just got. I'm not too crazy about the 18490 (almost definitely a fake AW). I'll have to solder connectors to the battery and mod.
