I ordered a kayfun 4 from gearbest and when I asked to cancel and get a refund, I basically threatened them with poor forum feedback and, I got my refund very quickly ;)

3 to 6 MG nic
Now I can see the attraction of low nic juices !!

I dug out some 10mg totally wicked and now can manage half a lung draw. Much nicer than 18mg and I can see where this goes now.

Will get in with the lower mg's, I am sure to benefit.

Plus I have never been a fan of high VG juices, always catch the back of my throat, and feel a bit like 'dry ice' - will high VG juices be enhanced now? I am not chasing clouds. In fact I can see the biggest downside to this setup is that stealth goes out the window now. I even managed to set off the smoke detector with this setup.

Cheers,

R.

It's here finally

Well it is heavy . Even without the battery it is heavy. The door is not flimsy metal but nice gauge. The magnets are strong . The Panasonic battery fits nicely and the door is still tight and no gaps. Sits better on the table than an Istick since base is square. KTM Rider you will love it !! The only thumbs down is as said before the screen stays on too long and the sleep mode. The sleep is easy to get used to so no big deal. This is the best built mod I have owned. I like it better than the MVP because replaceable battery and smaller size.

I think you'll find that higher VG experience will be enhanced. You can vape the higher VG blends and still have more flavor than you would have with high PG blend on a "lesser" clearomizer. And as you drop down to 6 or 3mg, you'll get even more flavor and less of the nic "pepper" taste. Personally, I'm finding 3mg just about perfect for chain vaping, with 6mg handy for shorter, infrequent sessions, like at work.

Another nice thing, for me at least, is now that I don't need to run high PG blends to get flavor thanks to sub-ohming, I get a lot less "vape mouth" side effects (dry tongue, mostly).

And yeah, no stealth with my Mini and an Atlantis...heck, it's even a bit annoying vaping and watching TV, I keep missing scenes that are obscured by the cloud. ")

I don't know. I love my rDNA40 and DNA30. No pause. The only saving grace might be that it takes 2 mins to sleep rather than 1 min. I absolutely hate the pause.

Still waiting on Elev8. Showed in stock when I ordered a few days ago. Now shows out of stock and my order says "waiting on fulfillment".

HD

I take the fact that they actually updated the stock to OOS to be a relatively good sign. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt for a few more days at least.

For those of you that have one, does it seem to fire accurately to the watts it's set at? Or is it like the istick which doesn't and burns up all my NET juices? Also wondering if I can use some of my older Kanger mini protanks which i couldn't on the istick because it burnt up everything on them.
Runs much smoother than istick. Not sure how stock coils on protank will perform but I will throw one in tomorrow and let you know. Rebuildables always perform better it seems but I'll give it a test for you and report back.

I'm using on a Protank 2 at lowest setting . Works great . It really feels different in your hand. Solid compared to the stick.........
I agree.i have mine on now. Took out the rebuild I had and put in a stock coil. Reading 1.98 ohms. Running it at 8 watts but I don't think I would go much higher. I Can't chain vape with it but it does the job. Had an airflow adapter I use to use with it but the istick chewed up its threads so I have stock base back in it. Sure do miss the airflow adapter, going to have to order another.

Yes, I have had similar problems with the original kanger aero base on protanks, but cant stand running pt2's on their junk stock "gurgle-o-matic" base. Protanks are useless without an aerotank base attached imnsho. They run great at 7.5 to 9 watts on cotton wicked microcoils anywhere between 1.4 and 1.8 ohms ime.

Anyway, the first kanger aerotank's air control base was chrome plated brass and they tend to wear out threads badly, especially if you're screwing them onto anything with similar soft threads like an twist or an mvp. When you do order some new ones, I highly suggest getting the later versions. The v2 and v3 versions are made of stainless steel and have much better threads. The v3 has a stiffer adjustmant ring and does not slip off the setting like the v1 and v2 do. Sometimes the v3 is almost too stiff to adjust, but thats a good thing imho.

Heres a link with pictures that show the differences between the different versions...
Kanger Air Flow control Valve Base Replacements
They have been out of stock lately on all three versions to fit protanks.

Fasttech now stocks the v3 for $5.85 if you can wait the two weeks to get one... (ft's shipping has been really fast lately fwiw)
$5.85 Authentic Airflow Control Valve for AeroTank V2 - stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Otherwise this supplier usually has the v2 version in stock...

Questions for those that have the cloupor mini...
Does it go into a sleep mode that causes a delay to wake up and get that first vape or is it ready to vape instantly ?

Hows that magnetic door? Does it feel kind of loose when youre holding the mod ?

Is the door bowed or misfitting like the two minis that spanish speaking you tube review, who I feel may have bent his cover prying it off incorrectly ?
