I had no play in mine either but it seems like the more the door gets used the more I notice more movement. Still worth it to me tho.
I noticed that, contrary to expectation, an AW 18650 button top (in my case, the 1600mah which I believe is 24a) fits and powers fine on the cloupor mini. If I'm right on the 24a rating (which I got from Busardo's site) .... is there any reason not to use these?
That said, you can almost guarantee there's going to be a Cloupor Mini Plus or somesuch,
This is my fear. The quirks that may crop up. No point in having a mod with replaceable batteries if the batteries outlast the mod itself. Can these be reset of something? Half way through work today, mine started hitting very weak, like it was only pushing a watt or two. The display works. I cleaned all the connections etc. Thought is was my Nauti but, it works fine on other mods

I threw in an Efest I knew was mostly depleted and the mini said it was fully charged. Took about a dozen hits before the display indicated charging had commenced. Let's hope this anomaly (and yours) become nothing more than little annoyances.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the general issues with the Cloupor (except for firing delay out of sleep) will be addressed when the silicone sleeves are released, no?

Okay, I can deal with this!!!
The damn thing is already stuck to my hand and I can get it loose............![]()
So I've found that if you charge via the USB port, your battery display can get wildly inaccurate (to the point where it'll read a 30% charged battery as charge complete). Seems to crop up only if you try to use it while still on the wire, if you just plug it in and let it sit without firing it, it's fine as far as I can tell. To reset after a use while charging, you need to unplug it and pop the battery out for a few seconds to get it to read accurately again, but it goes FUBAR just as soon as you use it.
If you don't use the USB port for charging it reads accurately from full to depleted. And since the USB charger is spectacularly slow, I'm pretty much exclusively using my external Nitecore charger, reserving USB charging for emergencies/car use, or the occasional overnighting.
