Ok guys. Convince me or stop me.

I'm so tempted to pull the trigger on a Cloupor mini but I know as soon as I do something better will come out. Just like my istick 20w. As soon as I ordered it they started accepting pre-orders for the istick 30w. I don't need 50w so the 30w would be perfect for what I want. Floating 510, sub ohm and same size as the 20w give or take 2mm. The Cloupor has one feature over the istick I really like though. The replaceable battery. That's a great feature for on the go. And for $30 free shipping......

It also doesn't sound like a metal maraca when shaking. Then again, with an iStick in each hand, you could vape and put down a pretty good rumba beat at the same time. :)

I wouldn't recommend the Istick anything after taking a few of them apart. They are very cheaply made and don't last very long.

I've been using my Cloupor Mini for a few days now and it's a much more solid mod. I'm not sure if they fixed the output on the newer Istick 30w and 50w but the Cloupor uses RMS, not mean (Vavg), so it won't run hot.

Ah that's right. I forgot all about the mean (Vavg) that the istick uses. Well, seeing that I already have a pair of maracas I think maybe I'll just use my iStick, whenever the heck it gets here, as a backup.

One more to throw in the mix. Any one have a Beyang? :)

It's an easy fix but again, it's a cheap mod. The Cloupor feels more like a $100 mod than a $30 mod.

gonna have to agree with that statement. even though mine is sitting, gutted and waiting for a new brain, the quality, weight, and construction are amazing. after i pop in the dna40, ill have spent about $80 and have one slick mod that could easily compete with an rdna40.

Having experience with the istick20, istick30, ipv mini, I can state that cloupor hit it out if the park with this one! If you've ever wanted an original vapor shark for the small form factor but were put off my the 1300 mah lipo this little baby is as close as you can get. It's not an evolve dna30 board but it's as close as I've seen China get to one. Feels and performs like a much higher end mod. I give it an 8 out of 10.

Funny you mention it! I missed the Vapor Shark DNA-30 sale (when they were discontinuing them and had them at $99). And having the rDNA-40, I like the form factor. But this looks like a great mod for my Kanthal builds and something that I can beat around a bit and not worry about!

Very excited, but sad for the wait...

Looks like the same cheap construction as the Istick.

Just ordered a Clouper Mini based on the reviews I've read. Figured I needed a spare mod for running non-nickel builds. Sadly, according to Fasttech, it won't ship until February 20th... Guess I have a bit of a wait in front of me.

Mine took about a month from FT. Ordered 12/19, shipped 1/8, delivered 1/20.

I'm very interested in how this turns out. I have a few DNA40 boards coming.

vs dna30's have been available for $99 for a good long time. i think its a perma-discount:

Yep. I got one because it was so cheap (comparatively speaking). You can't get a genuine Evolv DNA 30 device for under $100 anywhere else. Battery life isn't as bad as you would think unless you're vaping over 20w. It charges in about 2 hrs.

Ok, I got paid today and I need another mod since I only have an Istick 20, and some dusty vision spinner bats somewhere.
My first istick I had to chuck into garbage after about 4 months. USB port got jammed up into housing and couldn't fix it.
That was after the fire button refused to fire, got stuck, then went out for repairs. -
But the clapour wasn't available (timewise for me), so i had to buy another istick and cross my fingers it would last a few months this time with no issues.

I want to get the clapour so I won't be nervous about istick taking a dumpster dive on me.
Anyone have link for the best battery for this device (cheap) lol.
And should i get a charger as well. I'm worried about using usb charger since my istick usb issue.

Thanks for any help all !

Just hop on amazon or ebay and look for some LG HE2's or Samsung 25r's. Both can be had for cheap.

Yea. i figured i'd end up there.
But after looking thru some old orders online in Outlook, i see I once bought a charger from batteryspace.com
I think i could get everything there.

After searching batteryspace i got to here, don't see any samsungs tho.

Lot's of those have a really low amp rating. Look for something with a 20 amp or higher continuous discharge rate.

About Charging Problems, Please use stable current charging device to charge our Cloupor mini or charge the 18650 battery independently. And you know, the computer and car charger's output current is not stable, so we do not recommended users to plug cloupor mini devices into computers/laptops or car charger. Thank you.
Not a joke from me but at the end here Cloupor Mini 30W VV/VW Mode Box Mod for Sale

Even if not understable just look quickly topic for the pics Box Cloupor Mini 30W : Les boxs - Page 215 and Box Cloupor Mini 30W : Les boxs - Page 216
and here 3 of the 4 first topics Vaping Technical Issues | Thailand Vapers

I can confirm you than troubles did not come just by charging with USB...
