So for those of you that don't want to sit through 45 minutes, he likes it, a lot. Size, feel, buttons, features, easy battery swap, display and performance all get a thumbs up.

Thumbs down for the battery door rattle, thumbs down for the lack of a floating 510, and a big thumbs down for the wake delay.

Instrumented output numbers are good, not great, and it's clear Cloupor didn't really spend a lot of time tuning for accuracy at low wattage/higher resistance. Gets much better at lower resistances and higher wattage, it's like they tuned it for the Atlantis-style builds. It does put out the 30w it advertises. But doesn't do any step-down at all, 3.6v is the minimum it'll fire at, no matter how low the wattage is set.

crap, and the hits keep coming

Can live with Delay -I fire before vaping anyway
Cheap finish on silver means it will look nasty in short order
No Step down puts below my ipv mini's in functionality
Non-adjustable 2minute screen delay - may as well be a lighthouse beacon
510 raised off deck never needed to happen

Oh well, I'll adapt or Pif to the wife

I've been banging mine around for a week now, in a pocket with change and keys, and there's no wear showing on the finish of my silver one. None.

The display is not super bright in a dark room, but bright enough to be read in full daylight.

510 lift is miniscule, I might be lucky to get a hair and a half between the mod and my Atlantis.

Step-down is a non-issue for me with the toppers I use. Not going lower than 3.6v is not an issue for any of my clearos, since I prefer all of them to be running at least 3.8v.

Mail man just came!! Woohoo!! I have a new toy!!

Ordered a black one from Vaportek last Monday. REALLY like the weight and feel of this thing! I can't imagine you could get an 18650 regulated mod any smaller!!

None of the minuses that have been discovered are show stoppers for me at all. I think I'm really gonna be happy with this unit.

Thanks Croak. I'm sure it will be fun to tinker with. Just not as versatile as hoped. I have everything from RDA's, Orchids to T2's and ce5's:laugh: I swear I can't throw anything out unless it breaks beyond repair.

1/2 My Nemesis are Mechanical and 1/2 run Kicks. I even occasionally fire up the old Lava Tube(YJ) with an Eternity rda.

The ONE thing that got my attention was the Kanger Nano. I have a feeling this Mod could become my stealthy work unit running one of those.

So no stealth mode for the cloupor mini eh? Irritating. The VS 30 actually doesn't do full stealth either even in stealth mode -- the #$% button lights up. Seems all the mini box mods are a chinese menu of picking your least disliked defects. I feel like the cloupor mini is my best choice in that regard. I can live with the lack of voltage bucking just barely (better than an Istick I'm assuming), but a stealthy box mod without stealth mode is bothersome. I expect to get used to the .8 second delay through habit. Mind should arrive today or tomorrow.

Well, it is so damn palm-able, the display is naturally obscured when firing in the left or right hand with the index finger. It's not like a VS unit with a display on the bottom for the whole world to see when taking a toke. And there's always electrical tape. :)

excellent point. VS screen on the bottom is the one big downside (uh) on that otherwise fantastic device.

The VS has stealth mode :p

Having the screen on the bottom doesn't really bother me. I thought it would more but after using it for a while, I hardly look at the screen anymore. The .8 sec delay is a much bigger issue to me as it affects the actual usage of the mod. I have a couple of Hana clones (full size and mini) that has a 2 sec and 1 sec delay, respectively. I've taken apart the 2 sec delay one and have no plans on ever using it again. I rarely use the mini with 1 sec delay.

yeah the vs has stealth mode that turns off the screen, but not the fire button. No biggie, the screen is what most needs turning off. We're both big vs dna30 proponents. aside: KTM do you know what VS uses for replacing the 30's battery with its $25 service ... larger capacity perhaps? my charge time is getting shorter so I may be approaching that time...

I have no idea what they use but they say it's 1300mah lipo. I bought a few Turnigy 1200mah batteries from Hobby King as backups and for another mod (Hana mini clone). If you can solder, it's fairly easy to replace yourself. The battery is less than $3 but shipping was $6 so I ordered a few batteries to have on hand.

The battery lasts about as long in the Hana mini clone as my VS DNA30.

My black one from Elev8vape is on the truck for delivery today. In looking at Phil's review, it might just be possible to put an SX350 Mini in this thing...

Mine has an expected delivery date of today but my mail has already arrived and the tracking hasn't been updated since Tuesday when it left New York. I know this part of it isn't Elev8 Vape's fault but I won't be ordering anything from them in the future.

So my Mini came in today from Elev8vape and I must say that it is better than I thought it would be. It fires hotter than my VS DNA30 but it is still usable with a Nautilus Mini (unlike my iStick). Interestingly mine doesn't have any of the door rattle that Phil had in his video....fit and finish appear very good. In hindsight, a week from ordering to receiving the unit from Elev8vape was not bad...I'm overall pleased. This thing beats the iStick 20W hands down.
