Right behind you...
I'm with crxess, it was a short. USB cables matter too, how the micro USB end is constructed can make a big difference. If the connector is too long it can allow a lot of torque on the connector...if the plastic end doesn't sit flush with the device when it's inserted it can cause the same problem. If the connector is too short you run into a similar problem, that's more likely to munge things up inside the connector.

And in the case of the Mini, if you look at the supplied cable, it's of the long variety to suit the recessed USB port, and sits flush and straight when inserted, not a lot of room for wiggle or torquing. But if you look at a cable supplied by Samsung, LG, HTC or Motorola (I've got all three), they're generally the shorter variety (the most common type actually), designed to fit in a more flush mounted micro USB port, and sit at about a 10 degree angle when inserted into the Mini, which ain't ideal. In the case of both the Samsung and LG cables, the outside of the connector itself is more narrow as well, providing less support for side-to-side flex.

TL;DR: Take a look at the cables you want to use with the Mini, see how much they vary from the cable Cloupor supplies. If they're not a real close match in size and length, don't use 'em, or if you do, don't use them while vaping or moving the device around a lot, to minimize stress on the connector.

If you just use any old micro USB cable you have laying around, you'll eventually run into trouble. At the very least, you're looking at damaging the connector so it won't charge, at the worst you're looking at something more...dramatic.

Hmm. That doesn't sound like an issue at all then. That wouldn't bother me a bit.

Have you used a mod with a pause from sleep? It's annoying as hell. My FC hana clone had a 2 sec delay and went to sleep in 1 min. My FT Hana mini clone has a 1 sec delay and sleeps in 1 min but it's less annoying. The fact that it goes to sleep in 2 mins and the delay is .8 sec might make a difference but I doubt it. I'm used to my VS DNA30 and rDNA40 and Cloupor DNA 30 and none of them have delays. Even my Istick doesn't have a delay.

sadly, i think theres a gov/bank/postal holiday on monday. im gonna pray for satuday KTM!!!!

Thanks but the PO already delivered my black Tobeco a day early so I doubt this will be delivered before Tues. I just like to keep my expectations low so I'm less disappointed. :D

I hate the way a Magma fits just about everything. I love the performance and constantly wonder what the he!! they were thinking making the 510 that long.
Accidentally split the Fiber washer on my IPV mini over tightening one of my magma's. Funny, not it sits flush. I suppose once I get a replacement part it will sit high again.

Ever notice - this thread is like a Dyson Vac. just keeps sucking you back in.:D

Different Subject -

ANYONE order from 3FVAPE and Received their unit?
I am showing 7 days since mine left Processing and nothing has updated. No way of telling if it ever caught a flight or if it is sitting in US customs. Tracking has been a total bust.
Not blaming 3FVAPE. they shipped fast and the tracking # is legit, but man the in between can get so screwed up.

Yes, mine arrived quick from 3FVape:
Mine arrived today...it took only 10 calendar days shipping from Shenzhen. This device feels solid and performs as expected. Below is a pic with my KFL+ v2 as well as with the cover off exposing the battery. So far I feel I got a great deal for what I paid - especially since I've now seen vendors charging up to $59.00 or more.

Interesting. In reviewing Phil's numbers for the DNA30 and the Mini, at 30 watts the Mini hits 0.6 ohm at 4.0v and the DNA30 hits 0.5 ohm at 4.0v. By these numbers there shouldn't be a huge difference.
Well a true 0.5 ohm atty at a true 4.0 volts would be 32 watts where a true 0.6 ohm atty at 4.0 volts would be 26.7 watts. I'd say that 5+ watts is a significant difference.

I keep saying "true" because when measusuring (or reporting) numbers with only a 0.1 resolution, rounding may make up a big part of that gap, or it may widen it further. Regardless, all of his measurements came in below the calculated value. I haven't tested it myself, but I have vaped the same atty side by side and its a noticeable difference even with ~1.2 ohm coils around 16 watts.
