Objections noted, but at their volume and (international) coverage of business, not being fluent in English is not only offensive, but outright counterproductive.

vaping ain't no video game. (But granted, ”All your mods are belong to us” might be funny) :D

On the other hand, they may come up with a new slogan ”Our Cloupor last you long time”... :)

Right behind you...
Translation is definitely an issue. These companies do business outside China, yet they don't invest in proper communications. An official statement need to convey trust and restore confidence, poor choice of words aren't going to help their case.

Anybody remember "all your bases are belong to us?"

Amigo, there are multi-billion dollar Chinese companies that struggle to keep fluent English writers and speakers on staff. They're more valuable than engineers, and most of the good ones end up working for Western companies to translate the other way, for better money.

These Shenzhen manufacturers are much smaller scale than that, even the biggest has less than 1000 people (most of those in production). Cloupor is not one of the biggest, by a long shot. Mid-sized at best.

And coming from one absurdly complex and nuanced language to another absurdly complex and nuanced language that shares nothing in common ain't no easy thing.

just a FYI. I ordered the mini from Gearbest in Dec. on pre-order. I neglected/didn't think to chose tracking. it shipped Jan. 10th. Still not here yet and can't track it.

Yeah, I'm all edgy too.
I ordered the first CP mini (silver) on Christmas Day last year from FT. Got a scheduled ship date for 01/23 - but nothing happened then (the ”restocking” issue).
On January 24 I ordered the Subtank Mini, also from FT. Both orders were shipped on January 26.
Meanwhile, on Jan. 22 I ordered ”the dark one” from 3FV, which shipped it on Jan. 27.

All three orders are traceable but appear to be ”lost in transit”. I'm close to losing my patience although I'm well aware that there's nothing I can do but wait. :)

More than anything I have read to date, this concerns me the most:

We’v found the source of the problem and changed the firmware .For the new batch we shipped from last week ,
no this overheat issues.

So, would that increase the likelihood that ALL Batches Prior are susceptible to the Melt Down?

I wouldn't think so, just that the latest and all future batches are guaranteed (maybe that's a strong word, lets go with assumed) to not have the problem.

:)
Yea, I'm happy knowing if something does go pop, the Box can be used with a replacement chip set.
Was going to give my Wife he Silver mini once the Black arrives. Decided to give her one of my IPV mini's instead. I doubt she could deal with the adjustable pin of the Cloupor.(old ladies get grumpy -)

I know this may take some time before I get it . I just couldn't pass up the low price. I paid with paypal so no fear of losing money. My order says ships in 2 days. I'm sure that was fudge...........

I pre-ordered a silver Mini from gearworst in December ($29.99 shipped). It arrived about a week ago. Had to fix a bit of side-to-side battery door click with scotch tape applied to the inside of the door, but, other than that, perfect. Flawless. Passed the 15-sec 30-watt test with flying colors. I like it better than my two iStick 30Ws, so much so that I ordered a second Mini in black (also $29.99) from gearworst. Now they're on sale there for $28.99.

I got my second mini on Monday, to replace the first one that I lost. From GearBest, with shipping time comparable to Fasttech. Cancelled my order from Fasttech and ordered a second one from GearBest. They shipped yesterday, fasttech's estimated shipping time was February 16... Of the 0006 batch, works great, and passes the 15s test. Next, the new DNA40 clones (waiting for a vs rdna40 clone as I don't like Hanas or Vaporflasks, though I did order a clone board for a diy project).

Got my cloupor mini about a week ago and I'm liking it. What battery do the rest of you guys use? I got a high drain sony in there, works good but it doesn't last nearly as long as I'd wish (I guess this is because it's 1600mah, my istick is 2200) and it takes a while to charge back up.

Congrats!!! Watch out for the puff of smoke. It's a ..... to get all that smoke back into the chip :D.

I was using LG HE2's (2500mah, 20a) but I have a new pair of efest 3100 20a (6a really) so I've been using that for the last few days since I rarely vape over 4a (12w).

1600mah takes a bit over 3 hrs on the Cloupor (500ma charging). Problem is, the CM goes to weak/dead battery at 3.6v (maybe 3.5v) so it doesn't use all the mah rating on most batteries. My rDNA40 uses the battery down to 3.1v

I got my Cloupor Mini today. I'm not a small girl, but I have tiny fingers. (my pinkie finger is only a 1 3/4, if that tells you anything) The mini fits so well in my hands. I LOVE IT! I really want several of them!

I need to do the 15 second test at 30w, but I haven't yet. I did do it at a lower wattage. Mine is a 0005. I don't sub-ohm and vape at very low watts/volts. I don't know much about batteries and 30watts and such. I bought 2 Samsung 25Rs for it. Is this fine for doing the 15 second/30 watt test?

Congrats!

The Samsung 25R's are excellent batteries. You should be fine.

So KTMRider how do you like the efest battery's ? So do they vape longer than the 2500's ? Thanks

Not KTM, but the 3100 is going to last quite a bit longer..................At lower wattage settings. It will Drain much more rapidly and could be easily damaged to pushed to higher output levels.
Know your application. :)
