I been vaping for over a year and haven't smoked in over 8 months and I breathe easier. Most people know cigarette smoke has 1000s of chemicals, but some things with vapor could be worse than smoking, like vaping liquid with food coloring, oils, alcohol and sweeter, really hot vapor, maybe dry hits if someone is using ekowool or silica and fibers are inhaled or using non kanthal wires like g plat, hotwires, or royal wires that can rust or flake on to the wicks.

Just my paranoid thoughts.

I smoked for 25J+ years. I also smoked cigars 3-4 times a week. I got into vaping in 2010 just to have something else to "smoke". I had no thought of quitting cigarettes. But I did after about 6 months of vaping.

Smokers have absolutely no idea how powerful their addiction is. They associate all the action of smoking cigarettes with the "relaxed" "good" feeling they get.

The hook is the nicotine. When our coworkers realize they can have all the nicotine they want and still hold a stick and "puff and blow" they will be less afraid of giving up the security of analogs.

But they've got to experience vaping to "get it". Wipe clean your drip tip and let them experience a really good vape for their firest time.

I must have just gotten lucky, since it was my coworkers that helped convince me to convert to vaping over smoking. Been doing it for 4 months now and 3 months with no analogs at all. I feel so much better and got a lot of support from my coworkers. Even the one that quit with nicotine patches was supportive of my switch to vaping.

I see the posts about people thinking it is just as bad or worse than smoking and I can't for the life of me understand how they could possibly think it. I didn't switch to quit, I switched to get away from the stigma of being a "SMOKER." I have no intention of droping my nic level lower than the 20mg it's at now and still almost everyone has been "Well at least you don't smoke any more." And I have to say that I do agree with that.

This is an important point...people often fear what they don't understand. So we have to make them understand at any cost

Seriously though, let the naysayers and curious give it a try. I have given away a few ego starter kits and my MVP2 to curious folks. Having a bunch of cheap delrin driptips on hand makes it easy to let others give it a try.. Usually they are really surprised that vapor has actual discernable flavors.

Hi new here with thoughts of my own. Retired but active in motorcycle communities. You think your coworkers treat you weird. Try convincing a biker. But I have converted several. Mostly wives and old ladies. Read and took notes on everything I could find to make my choice which gave me the tools to help others. I quit a 50 year habit of two packs a day on Jan 10th. I still have the two cigarettes that I held on to just in case. And I love my chocolate mint escapes with no weight gain lol
