Which Id is better and why 2mm or 3 mm. ?

Which ID is better may be dependent on how much room you have in your atty.

1.5Ω using 28g kanthal @2mm = 9 wraps
1.5Ω using 28g kanthal @3mm = 7 wraps

Make sure to check your build with an ohm reader or DMM before putting it on your mod and firing it.

All depends on what your trying to accomplish. Sometimes its just fun to wrap coils and try out different styles and/or perfect your coil wrapping skills. Probably why this is called a "Hobby"!
