Tried a parallel coil today. It's 2mm with 10 wraps 30g @ 1.1ohms. Let me know what you guys think.

That's a interesting one because of how wide the coil is with that many wraps... I would be worried about getting dry hits after a couple pulls with that many wraps in a kayfun. I build my first parallel but I did it in a atomic dripper with 5 wraps and it works very well but it's .5ohm so that would be bad in a kayfun..... Let me know how that works in your kayfun with wicking if it works I'll try it on mine lol

When I saw the first coil I was going to suggest mounting the coil on an angle to get the legs shorter and make wick placement easier but from the second coil build I can see you are slowly starting to angle the coil. :) I am not sure how well either coil would work for me because I use 28g micro on KFL but your coils look very nice for your first attempts.

Note: just looked at first coil again and noticed it was 28g, mine just look different because I use 3mm mandrel for Kayfun. I find the bigger diameter coil I can get in the Kayfun the better as long as it doesn't short on chimney cap of course.

I was a little worried about the wicking too. But it's been hitting great on my nemesis clone all afternoon. The only reason I built it at 10 wraps was so I could use it on my svd but it took too long to heat up properly so tried on the mech and that's where it stayed. Thanks for all the compliments.
