I know the single uses the 21700 and rated at 90 watts, so how does it perform, batt life ect
The prime has lovely flavor, it's a flavor atty, so keep messing with your coil placement.
Every atty has its own sweet spot for coil placement, and moving a coil either up or down in relation to the airflow by even a mm can make all the difference in the world.
RTA's in general need a lower placement than an rda, closer to that bottom air flow hole, so keep messing with placement until you have it where the atty needs it to be..
as far as wicking material, I'm finding I prefer Koh Gen Do for RTA's and Native Wick Platinum Blend for rda's, but each person has their own preferences so you may like to buy more than one choice and see what you personally like best..

My recurve with a twisted ss316 28g 3mm coil
I made it to come in at .5 ohm, not bad its .49 6 wraps, ramp up is excellent vaping at 50 watts and using just over 10 amps, flavour is very nice, a lot different than my kanthal Clapton I had in, more clean and less in ya face flavour

I fixed the air flow issue with the Goon 1.5. I just made giant coils and stuck them directly in the way of the afc. Now it has to be halfway open.
One of these days I’ll post something other than my go to coil. I can’t help it that Claptons are the bomb son.

Well, I bit the bullet and ordered a goon 1.5, will post some pics next week of my coil build on it
I also ordered an illustrious d24 rda, it's a clone and on a slow boat from China, I was looking at single coil rdas and it popped up, I thought, yeah I'll have it, apparently its dual, impulse shinyitis purchase haha,so you all will have to wait a month for me to show you a build on that one
No not yet. I’m kinda tapped out on my reserves so hopefully the Topsides will stick around for awhile and I’ll be able to pick one up somewhere down the line.
That Illustrious is a new one for me, I’ve not seen that take on clamp style posts done before.

You may want to handle your posts, sounds like they might be a little loose. I don’t know if that would put wear and tear on your insulator or not but when I glanced at mine it looked pretty tiny/thin from what I saw. I’m ocd about that sort of thing, I like everything squared away.
The good thing I’ve noticed about the Goon is it doesn’t smash your coil leads so I bet you could back them out, get your post lined up and tightened down and be good to go.

They aren't loose just a bit twisted, I only noticed when I took the pic and yeah the insulator looked thin to me so when I fitted the bf pin I checked the base out for shorts with a multimeter, very easy to build on and it's a nice smooth vape with good flavour using the afc half closed cause its a very airy tank, thanks for the advice, I'll do it after this bottle of juice in the topside
I sorted it, just loosened the bf half a turn and used needle nose pliers to make it all square, all good, resistance is the same, while I was at it I polished it with toothpaste, looks good now, I'm not ocd but it feels better that it's correct, Haha

Just looking at your goon build, that's a top job dr.suess,mines ok for now, only took 20 mins to wind,build and wick,first on the deck and yeah it is a good tank, just a thanks for pointing me to it and the tips to get it right, I like better than my rabbit and recurve rdas,but I love my iconic, just so hard to use as the caps so tight, new pics shortly (hopefully)of my profile mesh build if it comes tomoz
