Just got my second Reo and second RM2. I like about 8 to 9 wraps of 28 gauge. Now my problem is the post are so far apart that the legs stretch to reach. If I put more wraps I can get it right but my ohms obviously rise. I have seen some people here turn the wire to get a straighter turn. No matter how many times I try that it never gets positioned right. Any tips or ideas would be great.

I've only wrapped microcoils for my rm2 so far for that exact reason - hot legs aren't an issue with a micro so you just leave whatever form you use to wrap in the coil while you position wherever you want the coil to sit. Tighten down the screws, measure your resistance, and give a dry fire to heat the coil, squeeze to tighten things up, repeat until your satisfied, thread some cotton, squonk and rock.
Easy peasy, lemon squeezey :)

Edit: yeah, what ^he said.

Plus after you heat and you're squeezing the hot coil with pliers or tweezers you can slightly adjust the position of the coil.

One thing that I have found, and I dont know if its just an anomaly or if this will happen for everybody, if you take off the tall post (farthest from the juice hole) then screw it back on it will actually tighten up a little more.

Instead of the post holes being parallel you can now get almost a "V" shape, where one of the post holes is torqued inward. It helps me with building 6/7 wrap coils with 1.4mm ID (.055" or #54) on 28awg wire. (also on DZ's coil jig)

After doing this a few times, tightening down the posts may overshoot the desired angle. I put a couple mm of scrap kanthal in the screw hole so it won't tighten so far.

BTW, if your into making the most out of your flavor (and not too concerned w/ making clouds) check out Mundy's Magic wire http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...92-alexander-mundys-magic-twisted-ribbon.html I only bring it up because, like you, I was at 8/9 wraps of 28awg and found that some of the flavors I was vaping really popped w/ Mundy's magic.
