Coil question

So here is my issue: I am currently using a Melo 2 as my everyday tank. I have been using Atlantis coils because they are more readily available locally. They burn out in like 2 days at the very most. I am wondering if I will have better luck with the Melo 2 if I get Eleaf coils? I really like this tank ALOT - mostly because of how easy it is to fill, but this coil thing is ridiculous. Or should I give up on this tank.

Also wondering if I will have better luck with the Atlantis coils in my Herakles tank? Ive got 1 coil left from the pack I bought less than a week ago and I've maxed out on my vaping budget till next pay - so I need to make it last.

So, do I drive to the one place that is kind of far away to get an eleaf coil, throw my last Atlantis coil in my Herakles (that is if it fits, ive read that it does, but have not tried it)? Any suggestions/experiences?

you may want this instead. Eleaf Melo 2 RBA (Atlantis, iJust 2)
with something like this, you can replace the cotton when you're getting nasty tastes and also dry burn your coil to clean off the gunk, then reuse. will save you $ so you can use your vaping budget elsewhere, like e-juices.

Yes! last time I checked that was not yet available! Thank You! I will be good when time to re-wick, as far as putting new wire in I have too bad a tremor in my hand to do it myself, BUT that will be the answer. Now to make my last coil last until it gets here.

But it is much cheaper than what I'm paying for coils now, so I should be able to buy a few of them and re-wick the heck out of them and then use another one I am officially a very happy vaper.

glad i can help. some local shops may help you put the coils in the atomizer. so that's one way to do it. yes, the price is very low and you can stock up on a few to swap out, if needed.

I don't see how that one will work in the Atlantis. The tank on it screws down on to the top of the coil, but that one isn't threaded at the top. I found this one though. I haven't tried it myself, but I hear it works. Overall length is a couple of millimeters longer than a stock Atlantis coil though and have seen reviews that point this out, but say it works.

I'm using a Melo 2, not an Atlantis. Im just using the Atlantis coils in the Melo 2 because no one really stocks Eleaf coils around here.

Your coils should last longer than 2 days. Wattage too high? Thick sweet juice?

probably no on the wattage too high, I usually stick between 30 and 40 watts. But probably yes on the thick sweet juice I was hoping it was the fault of the coil and not user error.

Oh yeah, I'm not sure about that. Ive had no problems size wise with the Atlantis coils, so if its about the same size I guess it won't be a problem ... interesting point

Not sure why the Atlantis coils are burning out so fast. I have 4 - Atlantis IIs and Triton, and the coils last months.

I think I got a bad batch - I got more from a different retailer and have not had the same problem. So much better!
