I've been vaping for about 5 or 6 months and when I bought my first starter kit it came with a preinstalled kanthal atty head and a ni200 head in the box and being new to vaping and no instructions in the box about how to use it I vaped the nickel coil in wattage mode at 35 to 40 watts for about a week so that is why I thought to post this I recently seen and researched a lot of videos on the dangers of ni200 wire as it pertains to vaping and all the other popular wire options we have to make coils with and was wondering what the pros of our community think about all things wire from witch of the 5 common wire types ni, ti, ss, nicr, and kanthal are the safest to how to treat newly made coils as far as how to prepare with dry burning and priming and the pros and cons of prebuilt coil heads and the risk and dangers of doing these things wrong. Thank you for reading and for your reply's

Simple breakdown. Ni should only be used in TC mode. Kanthal can be used in wattage mode. SS can be used in both wattage and TC mode. Ti is another TC only as well, and Nichrome I just have no experience with, but I guess is like Kanthal for wattage mode use. All are safe when properly used.

For my setup and convenience, I limit myself to Kanthal for wattage, and SS because I can use it either way.
