Coils need to be seasoned for better flavour?

hi guys, i've noticed that whenever i change new coil the taste of my vape is kinda blah. like ,very muted. but after a week or 2 the flavour becomes much better?

is this normal? and is there anything i can do to improve flavour when using new coil? or am i missing something / doing something wrong here?

i do dry burn the coil until it turns nice and blue before vaping as suggested by some youtube videos..

pls help? using 28/32 twisted claptons , 5 wraps on a subox.

i suggest to after you wick, you give it a couple of pulse, to make sure the wick is saturated carefully. Thats what i do to mine and it works

I already do that.. But I realize if I over saturate then I get horrible spit back.

1-2 weeks? Wow.. If I'm using only one atty I usually need to recoil in a week.. max.. Always got heavy gunking that leads to bad burning..

It depends on wicking - i don't replace the wicks in my atties much faster than every 2 or 3 months (They are RxW).

If your wick is cotton, it'll die faster. I use 26/32 K Claptons.

i burn off the gunk when i change my cotton.. saw it on youtube videos. cleans the coils make it nice and shiny again.

Ya I dry burn and give a hard blow.. But sometimes still got a bit gunk.. If got free time will just recoil, if lazy then I reuse

i been changing the coil and wick every week lol too much?? i get alot of dry hits if i use more than 2 weeks so i just change the coil every week now when i change wick.

I prefer refreshing taste and not gunk up if hold down too long burn taste start coming.

So for me is max 4days i will rewick as for coils top 2 weeks i will change.

I only get that issue of Blah when the coil is new. Other than that nope after the 2nd rewick no such issue. Also lately found that using SS316L in TC mode is so much better so taking on to learn more about TC and TRC mode.

Hmm to me la

1) taste better
2) cloud also better
3) cotton last slightly longer
4) in power mode the current keep connecting if we draw long breath sometime can taste burn taste if hold too long in TC don't have this issue.
5) Vape not so hot just warm and nice.
