Coils not heating up evenly

I'm not sure why but when I do a dual coil build on my quasar rba and fire it one coil heats up and gets red hot real fast and the other is delayed. One side stays saturated with juice while the other side burns dry. Does anyone know what could be the cause? Any fix ideas?

Turns out that one screw on one of the negative posts wasn't completely screwed down. *facepalm*
