It would not leak (from pressure) unless you put it in a awkward position.
Of course, one would not bring a tank full of juice onboard
Yes please don't bring a tank full of juice on board. Please respect a non smoking rule on the plane.
To be honest, and this is coming from an ex smoker/current vaper. I'll will laugh at you if your tank leaks in the plane. Because you should not have filled it.
One suggestion is to build your tank first and then leave the tank empty. Only filling it when you reach ground side.

i agree empty tank is the easiest.
since juice is so precious, i tried a lot of methods to prevent leaking. finally gave up, empty the tank or plan ahead.
