I've had this head cold since last Sunday, you know, the usual, starts with a stuffy nose, and ends with a sinus infection. Been vaping for over a year, and this happened to by my first real cold (incredible what stop smoking does!).

Well, vaping is not fun. I taste nothing, might as well vap unflavored nic. I've tried vaping my Ali'i at 6V (24mg) with WE,RY4,PurCig,RY5, and even Fireball, which I despise...nothing!

The only e-juice that works...that's right, dekang Menthol at 24mg. It breaks the sinus, and the warming vap at 6V with a 801 reg atty provides enough power to break thru.

FSUSA liquid is incredible, but it's no match for a head cold.... I just wish it could, I so miss the flavor

I've had a problem with sinus infections for the last month or two. Can't taste a thing when I have one, except that a lot of things are super sweet (but with no flavor). I wanted to try something minty, but didn't have anything menthol or mint at all! So I ordered some thin mint cookie in my last order to try when the next sinus thing grabs me.

IF it lasts that long. It's steeping, but smells oh, so good!

Anyone have another mint/menthol type of recommendation that would be good for vaping with a cold/sinus infection?

I totally understand. I have many many sinus infections every year, primarily since I have sleep apnea and have to be hooked up to my CPAP every night. Darn me if I don't set the blasted humidifier on the darn thing right vs. the current inside humidity wrong. Then I get condensation in my mask and wham... cannot breathe in the morning! It's something I am getting so tired of.

I have a marshmallow menthol flavor that is super strong. Almost like vaping listerine. Anyways, I've had two bouts with cold this season, and I believe that the insanely strong menthols work wonders. My sinuses clear up and my soar throat cools down. I recommend everyone keep a bottle of the strongest menthol they can get their hands on in the medicine cabinet next to the nyquil.

I can barely taste my thin mint. I am getting really cranky because I can't taste things. Seems as though my infection is coming back even worse. Im broke till the 3rd of feb and ticked that some people in this house don't clean their spaces. Hence the heater is on and blowing their crap into our clean rooms. *sigh*

I wish I could have garlic as I like it, but it doesn't like me. Lol

I was doing home remedies research today and found that some foods like chicken, milk, and corn can cause sinus infections. Yep not kidding and guess what I have been eating lately. Already a bit lactose intolerant, so staying away from the chicken and going to see how I feel.

I am vaping my nut mix that I have had since early december and can barely taste it. Sheesh. Lol

I can't stand when I can't taste things. I get extremely grouchy when vaping has no flavor! I hope you feel better soon.

I read a theory on the forum once, that vaping can actually reduce your chances of getting a cold, or viruses in general. My wife has had a cold for the last week, but I'm not sick and I've been in full contact with her the whole time..and vaping too, but my wife doesn't vape.

I've never gotten the flu shot...ever! Even though my work offers them to their employee's for free. I am one of those people who has an overactive immune system that causes other problems for myself.

Yeah I have read many places where that is stated. I have an underacheiving immune system because of some ailments I have. Not having this move down to my chest is a big thing for me, so im really happy to be vaping besides the stupid sinus thing.

I used to deal with sinus infections constantly. Since vaping, I've had one and it was very mild compared to what used to hit me. It's been surprising because my entire family has been passing back and forth some nasty sickies for the past couple of months and I've remained free and clear.

You totally know you just jinxed yourself right? Lol

I don't recall the last time I was ever able to breathe through my nose. When I do the nasal spray and the cleanser I get all loopy. Kat says its because im actually getting more oxygen. It will be cool at some point to be clear and taste my juices. Until then menthol here I come.
