Yesterday I was cleaning out the skimmer on my pool and laid my mini beside me (biiiiiiiiig mistake). Needless to say, clumsy me knocked it off the pool edge when I was replacing the skimmer lid. It sank like a rock into 8 feet of water. <sigh> The water's still too cold for me to jump in to get it, so I used the long-handled pool brush to push it to the shallow end and then fish it out with the pool net. It took me quite awhile to get it done, and many unladylike words were uttered (!), but I got it out, removed the battery, bottle, and atty, rinsed it with alcohol so the water would dry faster. 15 minutes later, I was vaping it like nothing had ever happened. Only thing I lost was the battery. I wasn't sure I should use it after it swam in a salt water pool, so I tossed it.
LMAO!!! I've done that too!!! With my minis....shhhh..just don't tell Rob!

A couple of days ago when I was sitting at a stop light on Lakeland Hills Blvd, a car pulled up on my left and I heard the guy on the passenger side say, "hey, that lady has a pipe!" I hollered back and said, "it's not a pipe, it's a REO" and I stuck my mini out the window to show it to him. I slid off the mini's door, showed him the liquid bottle and the battery and said, "reosmods.com, go there and you'll never want cigarettes again!"
Fantastic! It's all about advertising. I'm still not completely convinced that the family photos thread in the general smoking section isn't an elaborate advertising scheme by the reonauts to multiply their forces.

Almond, seriously, Rob stands behind his mods 100%. I wasn't fond of the 801 native connection on my Woodvil (801 is special order request) and I sent it back to Rob to be switched to a 510. He got it Saturday, and I already have my shipping number.
Sex changes and tweaking squonks? Dang, I think I like the eccentrics of this family.
Delilah718 - I think I already have the 2nd one justified and I don't even have my first! My bf is a good ten years older than me and doesn't like PVs because of all the filling/up keep. It's pretty much a given that he'll die before me, but if he quits smoking he won't have to die way before me. I know, I know, I'm a romantic.

I've dropped my Grand twice getting in/out of my truck. It hit concrete each time and now has some ugly scratches and gouges. But I'm still vaping.
I figure eventually I'll have to have it coated with that same stuff they spray in pick-up beds as a protective coating.
Just call me butter-fingers.
I made that trade with steve.... Kept the Ali'i a week or so then sold it and bought another REO.
That was my plan all along. I did the trade to help out scubasteve .... It looked like the only way he could get in on the REO family. I am blessed and have done well for myself. I had 3 Grands and It was worth it to me to help out a fellow vaper.
I figure I lost a few bucks when I turned around and sold the Ali'i (not Steve's fault - his trade was perfect as described) I priced it to move and it sold in 10 minutes
I got to use an Ali'i for a week, and confirmed that I am a REOnaut through and through.
Its a nice mod, but I wouldn't dream of starting with an Ali'i ....
If you wan't a nice wood mod for a second device I would go with the REO Woodvil over any other wood box.
IMO everyone should have a REO Grand and a Mini as their go to PVs
Then get a REO Woodvil ... or two
Then you can start collecting mods if you choose after that .....

Oh, BTW I dropped my Grand once down the stairs. I watched as it tumbled down a half a flight.
The door flew off and the battery popped out. The atomizer broke off, but....
Not a nick or a scratch anywhere .... nuttin .... the hardwood stairs on the other hand took some damage.

Dropped my Grand on concrete once, got a scuffed corner that's it. Dropped a couple other times on my wood floors, not a scratch. Works like new - but damn now I'm paranoid about my Woodvil lol don't wanna drop that one down any stairs!
