Hi, all. I bought my first e-pipe - my first vape of any sort - this week. It's a DSE601-C pipe. I loved it at first but within a few hours the draw had gotten really hard and the vapor dwindled away to very little.

I think I may have done something - gotten juice is the wrong place or something. It reminds me of smoking a pipe that desperately needs to have a pipe cleaner run through it.

I am an utter newbie and have no idea what to check or ever what the parts are called. Any suggestions are very welcome. What should I look at?

Thanks!

I have this pipe and love it.only things I can think of

is there something stuck in the stem?

How did you fill the cartos? Did you fill them by dripping or condom method. (Condom method involves putting juice in the rubber piece that comes with it and pushing the carto into the rubber condom and letting the juice push itself up into the filler material)

Did they come prefilled?

If you take the carto out of the pipe and blow into it does any juice squirt out the other end?

Maybe it's a bad carto try another one.

My first e-pipe was the 601, worked for about 3 weeks then stayed on. Took it back they exchanged it and that one worked for about 3 months. Not very dependable. I have gone on to an great e-pipe from EPipeMods, the Gandalf style. What a great pipe. I also bought the all metal e-pipe from Madvapes, also a great little pipe. Both use the 18350 batteries. I have 3 custom converted meerschaums. I own 3 Joye Techs 900mah and a 1100 mah twist. I still prefer the Gandalf from EPipeMods.
My point is the batteries will work with what Matt makes and the metal pipe from MadVapes. Chalk up the 601 to experience and look for something better. By the way the metal pipe from MadVapes is only 44.95. Great little pocket pipe. I use the Kanger Protank with it. Steams up the room.

Well, Saturday night, after only a few days of vaping, I dropped the dang thing on a driveway. (The mouth piece was slippery from juice, and came apart. The mouth piece stayed in my mouth, and the rest of the pipe fell on the ground.)

Now it don't wanna work no more. :( It acts like the batteries nearly dead (which it isn't) and just flashes at me a few times when I draw on it. I'm not sure if there's anything I might be able to do to fix it or not.

ok so now we get the full story. you may have damaged the inside wiring and or board (if they even come with any). not sure on a fix for that. cant drop you mods lol. i know it happens to the best of us. gotta be really careful. they are built well, but landing on concrete once or twice maybe its demise.

If it's working properly there shouldn't be any juice on the driptip.

The drop could've caused the head (wick+ coil) inside the clearomizer to short out. Do you have an extra head to try?
Also although not familiar with that type of clearo I believe it looks like a Mega clearo which has been known to have tight draw issues. If you get it working you could always try cartomizer+ tank as the juice delivery system.
Remove the clearo from battery, plug bottom of clearo with finger and draw on it. Is it still a tight draw?
