Hello my fellow GG brothers & sisters,

I've been enjoying the GG life for aprox. a year and a half! Started with a Grant, and now with my beloved GGTS. With the Grant, I always had to play around with getting my 510's to my liking. Once I got the TS..WOW 6v's with a reg. 510..AWESOME...BUT...maybe 3 days per atty. if lucky :p

NOW, I've been SO curious about this 7.4v option, and just received 2 x i7's early last week...luck of the draw had me with one D.O.A., and the other...Molten Lava in my mouth

Our Greek God Imeo (there as always) said this was IMPOSSIBLE! So, today my replacement atty. arrived...Excited, I grabbed my Multimeter and measured the ohms...THATS THE TICKET!!! The other i7 was improperly ohm rated...TODAY IS A GOOD DAY :D:D:D:D:D:D That's it...THE HELL WITH 510's...i7 901 with GGTS at 7.4 "AAAAAAHHHHHHH" the angels sing :thumbs::thumbs: Puff after puff after P-U-F-FFFF......PERFECTION! FLAVOR - "10", VAPOR - "10", THROAT HIT - "10", BLISS - "11"
Placebo Effect - :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::loll:
I haven't caught I nic. buzz like this since Junior High :D

With all the new options on the way...it just won't get any better than this! Imeo - You are more than words can express, and thank you is def. not enough! To a fellow artisan, I just want to send to you MUCH LOVE!!!!

Rob - Thank you for being our U.S. GG connect, with gr8 service and pride!!!

Happy vaping to all, and to all a good night ;)

Now you need one of these bad boys and the need to charge batteries is way less. I love the i7 especially with the AFS and a constant 7.5v. I understand exactly where you are coming from in your post my brother. The added resistance both increases the pleasure of the vape but it also extends the life of the battery by drawing less amps. I am getting about 6 hours out of a set of CR2s now. That was unheard of about two weeks ago. I was only getting around two hours tops from them. The best part of having a device with so many options is that you can dial in your vape to get the most of it.

Glad to hear that you got a good atty this time. I have one here that is mislabeled. But like you said if you just check your resistance before you use them you will know how much voltage you can put to it.

Hey Vapn.!

I've been loving these AW 3.7v 750 mah batts. from Lighthound. They're pricey, but they seem to drain evenly, and the Pila charger I got works SUPER fast and accurate. Not much of a fan of passthroughs, as I work out of my home studio and pace around the room a lot. Time to do a Spring cleaning and get rid of a bunch of stuff : )

When the new AFS is out with all the trimmings I won't know what to say...Must support the cause and pick up a GGSS with AFS for dessert vamping!!!!

See ya in the forum....Best - Mr.e

I have a super long cord on my pass thru and can go about 8 feet from my desk or any wall outlet. I take it to work with me and it plugs into the outlet at my tool box. I tell ya that pass thru is awesome after a few months of constantly charging batteries. Plus with the pass thru you do NOT get any power drops. With the AFS it is annoying when you get your rhythm and then the power or the battery drops. It is at that point when you start to flood the atty.

Just for fun I would like to see Imeo make a double attie GG and then put 7.4v to it.... lol I can see clouds now... call it the GG Shot Gun....

it will be useless friend because the batteries will give the half of their power to each atty so the same smoke will be prodused. Also you will have to put in your mouth 2 mouthpieses at the same time!!!

In the land of no hills and red dirt
I've been vaping a ggts with a 510 using a 18650 3.7v batty. I'm liking the hell out of it: good taste, vapor and TH, enough power to last for most of the day, and....10 days so far on a single atty!:D:thumbs:

Unfortunately, this experiment is being cut short since my old school AFS is waiting for me at the post office-sorry imeo, but I'll probably get a new one as well-but I'm all right with that.

10 days on the same atty still going strong? My previous 5v/6v mod ate 510s. I feel like there should be confetti dropping from the ceiling. I'm estimating that just through the difference in 510 atty consumption alone, the ggts would have paid for itself in slightly over three months.

What I would like to see is a TCO (total cost of ownership) for each mod. List price plus costs of ongoing supplies and maintenance. If such a study were done, I think the gg's would end up on top.

Best of all, I don't see myself needing-or even wanting-to buy another mod for quite a while. A few members of this forum talked me out of canceling my juice box order. I'm hoping the wife will use it...but after hearing some people talking about a steep learning curve for that mod, I'm doubtful. Fortunately, with all of the buzz and hype about it, I'll be able to sell it and get most of my money back...if it ever gets here.

Love to stay and chat, but I've got to get up and dressed to be at the post office when it opens!

Just came back from skiing in Italy, I had the Slim and the GGTS with me, enough juice and charged batties and it was great, skiing, vaping and showing off my collection to curious people. During the entire week I had used only one i7 attie and it is still running strong, so great quality for sure as I only used 7,4 V. I even smoked in bars and restaurants without any problems. Then when I came home there was a package from Vapn waiting for me: the adjustable AC adapter he made for me and it is great!!! Vaping at 7.5V with the i7 is really superb!!!

Now I have to catch up reading everything on the forum as in one week time it looks like a lot has happened. Can't wait for the new AFS!!!

Happy to be back ;-)

Glad you are back emonty, and also glad you had a surprise waiting for you. The adjustable power supply at 7.5v really is a nice vape aint it? I really love being able to leave my batteries charged and ready to go for times when I actually need them, away from a power source.

Yes a lot happens here in just a day so I can't imagine what a week would be like to catch up on.......

The problem of the batteries might be true, but what about if you used 2 18650 3000 mah jobs and make an adapter so that the 2 mouth pieces can be connected to make one. I have a mod like this, not with the batteries but with the connected mouth piece.

the amount MaH is only for how long they will last I think

That is correct, so so even if it was a double atty it will last longer.

Lets say Gary that we have 2x18650 batteries, so 7,4 volt total and 2 atomizers for 3,7 volt each. The current that will flow through each atty will be half of the total. So it will be like when we smoke 2 regular atties together.

The power of each regular atty will be at 4 watt. The power of 2 atties will be 8 watt. But we already have 8 watts with the i6 at 6 volts and we have almost 10 watts with i7 at 7,2 volts.
The tactic of 2 atties was before I make the HV ones. People wanted power and they tried to make tricks. But after my HV atties no tricks like these and no big fat cigs with big mouthpieces are needed.

Conclution: 2 regular atties are weaker than one i6 or i7. Thats one of the reasons I made the HV atties. The other reasons are that we still keep GG mechanical, we give more life to batteries than when we used regular atties at 6 volts, we extend the atomizer's life etc.:)
