Hey Guys,

Basically I've started social smoking, mainly on the weekends with friends over a few beers and such. I've read a few reviews and I think this might be the way forward for me, for me its more the actually action rather than a nicotine addiciton. I have a few questions if you could be so kind as to answer.

1) How safe are these E-Cigarettes?
2) Which one would be best for me, casual smoker.
3) Which Supplier (Ships to UK)
4) Around my price range (£50)

I think thats it for now, im sure your responses will spring more questions.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum Marcy. The DSE901 mini is very popular on this forum and is often recommended to new users, that would be a good one for you to look at. They break down a lot so you might want to get a spare atomiser and battery.

We don't know how safe esmoking is, there are no relevant long term test reports yet. Mostly the opinion is that it's safe or safer than smoking.

You can find some formal studies here -

Any more questions, just ask.

Cheers for the reply, I suppose anything is better than taking in over 4000 chemicals .

What is the vapour production like on this E - Cig, I've read in places that some of the Mini's produce low vapour and have a poor battery life, is this true?

Also, If I were to order what "extras" should I buy or just leave it as standard and see if I like it?

I heard things about the atomizers breaking down, what is the reliability of these gadgets?

Thanks again

I don't have a 901 so I can't say anymore about it. All ecigs break down, they are generally unreliable, the technology isn't very good yet. It's probably a good idea to start off with a spare atomiser and battery unless you don't mind being without while waiting for replacements.

From accounts on this forum the black 901 is a good buy.

;) actually all e cig is made in china. There is atleast 10 factories manufacture it , actually nos of factories I not sure , but is a few .
next suppliers get from different factories..thus u bound to see 901 all look the same BUT quality wise is vary ,

some suppliers 901 is better , some nope
u can try to PM david yang in this forum.I orderd from him and his 901 qualitjhy not bad. I know cos I order afew 901 before. Some break down whereas some going to half dead .
yup the ecig now is not stable for ur info and I have to truely said

especially atomiser is the first hardware tend to break down first
than battery.

why 901 is popular in here , next 103 and penstyle which last abit longer on battery and cart

is because this 3 generic models is cheap
thus u can get ur spare parts cheap also save some budget for ur carts.

some suppliers even give u free atomisers or carts if ur order is alot.

There is no lifespaM for an atomizer. I've never received an unsolicited atomizer.

There IS a lifespaN for one, but I don't know what it is. It appears that starting out, the lifespan is rather short, but once you get used to using the e-cig, the mortality rate for the atomizer drops quite a bit. I've been using mine for a little over two months (Generic Pens mostly). I've also read of some lasting over 3 months. My biggest suggestion is don't let the atomizer dry out.

(Sorry about the spam thing. I'm just a card. The Joker I think. :))
