Complete noob - got my Apollo vTube today! I have important question! plz read

So I got my vtube mini today. Before this, the only e-cig i had tried was a little $7 disposable i bought from a local liquor store, it was disgusting to say the least. Im liking this vtube much better, but my question is this.... I put 3-4 drops of liquid into the atomizer and after taking maybe 3-4 puffs, I start getting that burnt plastic taste. So of course, I put a couple more drops in and it solved the issue. Are 3-4 drops only supposed to last for 3-4 pulls? I'm vaping on the atomizer that comes with the vtube and im using it at the 4.2volt setting. Seems to be pretty tasty and alot of vapor for the first couple hits, but then like i said, the burnt taste starts to become pretty noticeable. How many puffs do you guys get from 3 drops of eliquid? I also had some Boge 3.0ohm cartomizers that came in the mail today but I have not tried any of those yet because I dont know which flavor I would like to fill them with. I got a sample pack, and a few 16ml bottles of different liquid so i'm holding out on filling the cartos until i find a flavor i really like.

Another question..... after dropping 3-4 drops of eliquid into my atomizer and puffing on that a few times, i get the burnt taste. So i've been putting another 3 drops of a DIFFERENT flavor into the same atomizer. Of course im getting a mixture of the flavors that have been in there. Will these flavors burn off after a while or are they going to linger in there forever? If so, is there a method to get the old flavor out so I can try a new flavor without having to get the mixed flavor taste? I would really like to know what these flavors taste like by themselves so I can choose which flavor to fill my carto with.

Yes, that's normal. I can get 4 or 5 toots or so before I get that nasty burnt taste.

Some flavors seem to linger longer than others in an atomizer. You can clean the atomizer with vodka or everclear (pure grain alcohol) or water or even rubbing alcohol (but you would need to rinse it thoroughly with water after using rubbing alcohol). That will get rid of the old flavor.

Sounds like you are "dripping"

when dripping you will need to add drops as you vape to keep from running the coil and wick of the atomizer dry and burning the wick/coil. In time you will start to get used to when it's just about to go dry and add more drops.

vaping style differ from person to person and with dripping you might get 3-4 pulls on 3 or 4 drops, somebody else might be getting 6 to as many as 10 pulls before having to drip.

either way, dripping imo is just about the best way to get the best hit and best flavor.........of course with the price of having to drip

It's pretty coil that you started out drippin. I personally think it not that inconvenient but if it does get bothersome for you to drip all the time you will probably have a greater appreciation for cartomizers and tanks later on.

Throw a vivi nova tank on the vtube and see the difference. Your missing out if you dont give it a try. No more need for the dripping ... Just fill the tank and it should last you all day.

BTW - awesome choice with the vtube ... you just need a good tank now You saved alot of money skipping small ecigs and egos. Congrats to you.

Ill definitely have to try the vivi nova sometime. i have since stopped using the atomizer, because when dripping, like i said i would get that burnt taste after a few puffs, so i would add 2-3 more drops, puff again until the burnt taste, then add 2-3 more... but i noticed after a while there was a pool of juice on the vtube all over where the atomizer screws in. it as pooled up around it. what could have caused this?

i decided to fill up one of my boge cartomizers and its been going strong all night. i definitely want to try a tank sometime though. now im currently trying to find a voltage to smoke at that suits my tastes. ive tried almost everything so far just to get a taste and OMG 6v is STROOOOOONG!!! Almost took my breath away, but it was FILLED with flavor.

I started out dripping and then tried every gadget around and now I'm back to dripping but with a little change. I use blue foam in the cart. Two drops on the atty two drops on the foam. This is good for about what I would consider one cig. vape it until the first hint of burnt. Put it down and before you vape again repeat.

It's been a year since I had a day without getting the hit that I was looking for. I can't say that for when I was using gadgets, I would really get annoyed when I could go a day without getting that perfect hit and flavor that I got from dripping.

As for getting a pool of juice it's simple, you flooded it. Drip two drips and hit it until it just barely tastes a little funky. Put it on it's side and drip again. It's kind of an art that comes with experience.
