Hello folks. I'm looking to switch from smoking American Spirits to eCigs, but I honostly don't know where to begin on deciding what sort of Kit I should start off with. I'm not experienced with any devices outside of a disposable Blu I purchased while on vacation. I don't need anything fancy, just need to kill the nicotine craving for the most part.

For starters I would probably go with an Ego type device. A lot of the members here really like the Ego/Evod. Not to expensive and easy to use.
I started out with the eGo-C Twist. Got me off cigarettes and now I've worked my way up to the Vamo v5, Zmax Mini and Provari Mini.

Hello ELTo! Welcome to ECF. You have made a wise decision. If I had known how easy it would be to stop smoking, I would have done so years ago. I used eGo twists with some cheap clearomizers. Then I picked up a Kanger Protank and it was much better. Good luck with your efforts.
First off you got to determine how much you smoke, that decides what equipment and nicotine level you need. Without knowing that anybody making any recommendations is being pulled out of the air.
(too many eGos are 3.3v)
I'm pretty new myself, but having great success not smoking with my ego kit. I also started out with a Blu, and it let me know that the e cigarette route might work for me.
I also didn't want anything fancy, although you will probably get tons of suggestions here. Everyone has their favorites. I will recommend this kit for starting out. It has 2 ego batteries, so you can use one, and have one charged and ready to go. It comes with everything you need to get started, except some e liquid. I got mine shipped in just a couple of days after I ordered. I have since ordered another one, because my young adult granddaughter wants to stop smoking, too.
Without knowing any info the best all around starter is the Itaste MPV2 kit. It can be had for as little as $42 and comes with everything but eliquid. You pic small tank 16 or big tank 30. The battery will stay charged for days and variable voltage. IMO tons better than an ego kit.

Everyone's opinion and what works for them is different therefore, research is the best advice I can give you. Also if you have a B&M shop close to you, they may be able to help by showing you some different options and you will get a hands on experience.
I was a PAD smoker for over 13 years. I decided on an iTaste VV V3 starter kit ( http://m.ebay.com/orderDetails?item...293041008&skus=Color:Black&varId=480293274996) and with 24mg juice. After a week I was able to step down to 18mg and will be dropping again to 12mg with my next order. I was able to quit analogs immediately but it is important to set goals. Don't forget, YOU CAN DO IT!
