I just started vaping recently and really like the idea of making my own flavors and juices but after mixing a few single flavor juices my head is ready to explode!! Is there any way some of you fine folks could recommend a few common flavors to start with so I can get into a little more complex recipes without buying 40 different flavors? Maybe your most used flavors or the ones you use in multiple recipes. I know it's a vague request but I just don't want to get in any further over my head, I'm not a creative person so I need a little inspiration and a place to start without wasting a boatload of money.

Um, I'd recommend going with Capella. (Did I spell that right?)

Their flavors work pretty well. Fairly forgiving and they already have combinations done.

They are not the quickest to ship and do not have the best price/ml, but have a loyal DIY following. That alone should tell you something.

They have the best coconut I've ever found. Their danish swirl is like bacon in that it goes well with just about anything else they make. The french vanilla is a top performer.

I've been wanting to try Cap's apple pie, but am trying to work through the pile of other flavors I have yet to play with before going there as I cannot place just one flavor selection in my cart while there.

So, forgiving, works well with each other, and has complex mixes already done. Those are the reasons I suggest them to you.

Hey, man, sorry I can't help. I have approximately 40 flavors right now and am expecting about 5 more in a couple days. I quickly l learned to use a no-nic mix for testing purposes. I've wasted some but most, even if I don't like it, are set aside for a rainy day. :) Use the recipe thread to get some idea of what flavors you might want to try and go from there. I like chocolate, vanilla, coffee and cream flavors best, so I bought those first and then flavors to mix and match. I got carried away when I discovered I like fruit flavors, too.
