Condom Carto Refill Safe???

I've been looking for an easy way to fill my cartomizers. I have heard about the condom cartomizer refill method where you just drip into the condom cap and press the carto down onto there. I have seen videos of this done with both the mouth end and the battery/threaded end. I have also heard small grumbles that this is either bad for the atty, or could potentially ruin the battery. Any thoughts on if its safe or not? I have a manual PigCig from LeCig if it makes a difference.

Well, it won't make any difference to the battery how you filled your cartomizer, as long as you wipe off any juice on the threads before you attach the battery. As far as the method itself, I don't like it because it forces juice up through the center hole in the catomizer where the heating element is, and you want to keep that as free of juice as possible. I fill them with a syringe, or if I have the time, I just pop the cap off and drip the juice in until the surrounding filler is saturated. I've only used Boge, Bauway and SLB cartos so I can't speak to filling the genuine joye's or the ceramic cartos.

I condom fill my 808's and have zero issue with that method. I fill them from the battery end then squeeze what ever juice is left from the top with the rubber cap out. Can't fill the CE2's that way, need a syringe for filling those. Still learning the right amount for mine, tending to over the CE2 :-( Hoping to get in on the Clear CE2 mega carto's so I don't over fill mine

i use the genuine Joyes mainly, but also the CE-2's and Boge soft caps (510). I don't know why so many people have a problem with using a syringe for filling. After you do it a few times it's a piece of cake. The only problem I have is seeing those tiny little fill holes on the CE-2's. But it seems that every thread I read about filling cartos there is someone who absolutely refuses to try the syringe. To me, the condom method is kind of messy and unprecise. That's just me, though.

i've found that the condom method seems to foul the carto quicker and provides fairly mediocre results.
