Can All cartomizers be filled + refilled using the condom method

Just seen a video of someone refilling their cartomizer using the cap that comes with one, and just pushing the carto down. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SIMPLE.

Just 2 questions :

(1) Should you always press the atomizer side down (as in the e-liquid goes straight into the atomized end, not the end with the mouth piece.

(2) Can all cartomizers be filled / re- filled that way. I have some E2's and the instructions say, take the rubber syringe and drip into the 2 little hols. That is rather tedious, can I not just use the condom way.

Fill your cartomizers mouth end with white plug in place. When you see a little drop of juice at the hole in the threaded end your full.

You cannot fill E2's that way.

E2's and eGo Mega cartos must be filled using a syringe. I think most other cartos can be filled using either the condom or drip method.

I tried the condom method... was quite messy. had to do alot of wiping up afterwards. I just pulll off the top and drip till it dont take anymore. Also helps to replace the hard tops with the soft rubber ones if you get any of those.

The E2's are designed to work without any filler material. They use a ceramic cup instead and utilize a port so that you don't suck up juice when you vape. The eGo Mega cartos use a similar system, but have the traditional filler material inside them. That's why you have to use a syringe to fill them.

It is actually possible to use the condom method in the Ego megas also as I have done it many times. You will however need to fill the condom several times as these carts hold a lot of juice.

I found it difficult to get the syringe in (as it bends) and I dont have a syringe (top part). So how much juice can the E2 hold. I have some 5ml bottles, could it take say, 1/2 the bottle.

The megas hold about 2.5ml or 60 drops of juice. Just be certain to allow enough time for the material to absorb it all.

If its a regular size E2 I believe it should take ~0.8 ml, XL will take ~1.5ml. You can cet a syringe from most pharmacies for a quarter, or maybe you have a needle exchange near by. If you cant get a syringe some people have had luck removing the third plug that the needle point goes through, then just tipping the E2 and very slowly driping it down the side wall.

Do not try to condom fill a rev 4 e2...it is a mess and does not actually get into the cup. but it will get into the sides and ...well its just a mess...

If you alter the E2s you can fill them by dripping down the sides. look in the filling E2s contest thread. I use the 1cc syringes from the pharmacy exccept I break the needle off and use the soft tip needle over it, it fits, but you have to fill the syringe by dripping into the plunger end.
