I am currently filling from the battery end with the cap off and I can even manage to overfill them too. I tend to get greedy after I taryn spin a carto and filling the carto with the second set of drops. I've identified the problem anyway so now I understand why filling from the mouthpiece was so problematic for me. I could not see what I was doing and I overfilled a few cartos. I took the white cap off and still overfilled some cartos.

I am now better able to tell when the filler is saturated versus soaked. If I don't feel like popping the cap off, I may occasionally fill it from the mouthpiece end, but then I have two ends to wipe. To sit and fill more than one carto at a time, I'd rather pop off the caps, fill from battery end, spin, fill again, and wipe less.
My tissue consumption is higher when filling from the mouthpiece end!

I have to get syringes! I think keeping the center tube dry could be the key to a longer lasting cartomizer and certainly less waste.

You'll love filling with a syringe. I finally got one for myself and it's fast, clean and precise. Amazon has some - I got a couple from some random e-cig place I don't recall. They're like 99 cents each. I never liked using a condom

I recently stopped Taryn spinning after filling up twice. I.E when the carto is empty I fill it to the top/spin/fill it again/spin, done. Even if the carto LOOKS dry after these 2 spins, it won't hold much more at all. Saves on spillage bigtime.

BTW, my spins are 30 revolutions, medium to high speed...

I spin between and 10 and 15 revolutions....seems to do the trick. You can safely fill and spin THREE times with a new cool cart.
However, I like your idea. I seem to overfill now and then trying to get more in....defeats the purpose.

1cc is the same as 1ml true. This looks like a good deal. 18 gauge is large enough, you might have a little problem with pure VG, but if you pull the plunger and wait, thicker juice will suck up into the syringe. They really don't make them bigger than 18g as far as I can find. You'll be pleased with these no doubt. I find some carts hold exactly 1ml and some hold 1 and1/2 ML. The only difference I can see is my plunger holds 6 ml and this holds 3. No biggy. Let's see, oh yeah, the post on the battery end of the cart is not attached, so when you fill a cart a little juice may leak around the post. Sure, whatever works for you. I just hated the condom gathering a pool of juice that I had to then clean out. You'll pick up your own style and be filling carts 50 at a time in no time.
