Putting my 2 cents in and it probably isnt even worth that. I have the V4L shorty. The only reason I dont use it because I cant seem to find a carto that I like. They always burn hot on me and hurt my lip and throat! Maybe its user error, I dont know. BUT if you are looking for something small the 808 will fit the bill. V4L is also good at customer service BTW. (In my experiences)

ok, thanks. I have so much stuff both on my list to buy and in my box that i am not sure when or if i will try them though. I have 240ml of juice ordered, some lr cartomizers, some... Hell, i forget what i ordered... But things are in the mail... Lol.

I still think i will likely donate my kr808 to a homeless smoker, lol. People can argue until they turn blue that it is a 3.7v device.... I don't care if it is 900v - i don't like the taste.
.........duh......huh????????????

Have you tried their coolcarts? Little higher resistance, cooler.

Do you have to use special juice in a low resistance carto? Cause v4L also sells WOW liquid, presumably for putting in WOW cartos.

No, no special juice needed. The WOW juice is just what they had formulated when they were only selling WOW cartos and that's the juice that was loaded into them. Later on they figured out that many people didn't like the hotter burning WOWs and started selling the Cool cartos as well. The same juice is sold in both styles.

So do they have 3 different types of cartos: WOW, regular, and coolcarts? Or are coolcarts just what they call their regular carts? On their site, they have two different pages, one labeled WOW carts, one labelled Premium carts, but on the Premium carts page, some on the individual carts are called CoolCarts, others aren't...

I have the KR808D-1 and with the regular size battery (not the mini) it is very close in both length and diameter to a regular cigarette. I smoked More 120s which are smaller in diameter and longer in length and prefer the XL batteries. The main problem with the regular size battery is they don't last near as long before needing to be charged.

Not all super-minis have bad battery life. Sure they don't have the life of a huge battery but it depends how you smoked and how you vape. M401 has decent battery life (it's long like a 110 cigarette), as does M402 for its smaller size (battery lasts 15-20% less than M401's). The way I vape every 15-20 min I actually get 3-4 hours off one M402 battery and I swap/recharge on the go with the PCC. The carts are abysmally tiny but I don't mind topping them off.

The KR808 and KR 808D-1 and both Vapor King according to this Comparison chart?

This person just commented on their first week with a KR808D-1 with a couple of battery sizes:

Not sure where the confusion is. The response was about trying 901 atomizer for the KR and see if I will like that with it...I reread my response and it seems readily understandable? Perhaps i will one day try them with it.... but it is not on my priority list, at the moment.

I'm betting that the premiums are actually the Cools, they just didn't label them as such when the flavors were added. As far as I know V4L has never had a carto designated only as premium.

OK, my VK arrived today, and here's my initial impressions of it:

First off, my concerns about the size of the kr8 turned out to be a total non-issue - with the shorty battery it's almost the same size as my E9... a little bit bigger, but I don't think I would have even noticed if I hadn't compared them side by side. So that's cool.

My first drag on the VK I had a very negative reaction to it... it felt like sucking through a straw, and I got almost no vapor. The draw is WAY lighter than my E9, so if I suck on it with the same amount of force I'm used to, I run out of lung capacity in about a second, and end up with virtually no vapor. Eventually I figured out I would need to adjust my technique a bit - a quick pre-puff to get it going, then a long, very very slow puff... with this technique I can get a decent vape out of it, although even so, it's still less vapor than the E9, which was not what I was expecting. However, the vapor is both hotter (a good thing in my book) and more flavorful (not dramatically so, but noticeably). TH is also slightly better.

So overall, I think the kr8 is a better e-cig than the E9, but there are some tradeoffs. I don't care so much about less vapor, as long as the flavor and TH are there, but I really wish it had a heavier draw, so you could suck on it more like how you're used to on an analog. I'm sure I'll get used to that though.

I'm guessing that you ordered an automatic. That's one of the reasons that a lot of us moved to manuals, less effort to get the vapor amount you want. The other is that autos can short out pretty easily if you accidently overfill your cartos and juice leaks down into the battery hole. Manuals have a sealed battery.

Yeah, but on my E9 I never had a problem with the auto batteries... they Just Worked. I think the difference is the lighter draw on the kr8... there's so little resistance to your puffing that the airflow doesn't exert as much force on the switch.

I've had another day now to adjust to it though, and it's become not as much of an issue.

Hi, there're two models of KR808D, one is KR808D-1, the other is KR808D-2, if you buy from a qualified supplier, the only difference is the thread, V4L is selling D1 while Greensmoke is selling D2, normally speaking, the larger the battery, the lager the battery capacity, the more puffs the battery supports. KR808D is with 9.25 diameter, if you want one that is lighter, slimmer, feels more like a true cigarette between your fingers, you may try a 8.5mm diameter e cig, it's also with cartomizer, same technology, just slimmer. :)
