Hey Everyone, I ordered a safecig micro about 1 month ago, menthol 18mg, very good, only problem is the battery life, didn’t last a bit, and the throat hit was good in the first drags, and I was using about 1-2 cartridge a day which I think is a little too much because it’s about 17$ for 7 cartridge.

I am looking into another e cig, to buy a starter kit and few menthol flavors. I’m looking for a decent battery life, not a super huge e cig that I can’t carry around, i would like for it to look like a real cig, but it can be a little larger if that what it cost for better battery life. I want a good throat hit (Strong), but that doesn’t hurt. I don’t want burnt taste, I really don’t care if I change from cartridge to e liquid, as long as it do the work and its good, and doesn’t leak, I wouldn’t mind even though I prefer cartridges. I am kind of a heavy smoker, and I used to smoke a lot of real cigs, I really need someone that makes me feel that sensation, the throat hit and the feeling I’m smoking a cig. Also, would tobacco/Marlboro flavor help?

I read a lot about ego t and other brand, still unsure and confused.

Someone Help me out please?

Sorry for my English, it’s not my first language.

Thanks to anyone who helps me.

Dani.

I would suggest the normal eGo instead of the eGo-T. Save the atomizers for testing new flavors, but throw the cartridges away and get a drip tip.
Get some LR (2ohm) cartomizers for everyday use.
This will give you a good solid foundation PV that you can count on while you experiment and fiddle with other stuff (like we all seem to do).

Hi and welcome! I'm only on day 2 of vaping, and I got us Safe Cig Micro starter kits as well, and agree with your assessment of throat hit and satisfaction on it so far. Before they even arrived, after finding this forum, I also ordered the eGO-C from Ovaleusa and it also arrived yesterday. I'm actually vaping on both right now, because I really do like the flavors that the Safe Cig Micro has (Sahara on it right now, but got the menthol starter kits).

We (my boyfriend and I), charged both of our Safe Cig Micro batteries last night, and we're by a computer all day during work, so for the same type of smoke breaks we took, the Safe Cig Micro will work for us.

He's less interested in getting into something different at this time, but I really do like the ease of use of the eGO-C system so far. I needed simple like the tank system, but I do plan to get some LR atomizers and drip tips soon to experience that, and also pick up a VV 510 battery.

Take my experience as it is, coming from someone with less than 24 hours under her belt. I've found the folks here to be amazingly open to helping answer questions and bending over backwards to make your experience the best it can be!

Riva kits are cost effective and of good quality. They are 3.7v devices, but you lose the voltage rather quickly off the charger anyway with an unregulated battery like the Riva 750mah. The eGo is regulated to 3.4v from start to right before the charge indicator flashes. I actually prefer the eGo battery because I use LR Boge cartos. 3.7v on a Riva batt is a little harsh at that resistance and the first vapes with my 100% PG Camel juice are harsh until the voltage drops. With the eGo batt I get smooth vaping from start to finish.

I like a 1000mah eGo-T batt for the 5 click on-off feature. I can stick it in my jeans pocket and not worry about activating when I'm riding around in the yard on the lawn mower. I've had standard eGo batts go dead while I am cutting grass from repeated activation in my pocket.

If you still want slim then I recommend the most popular slim mini with prefilled cartomizers - KR808D-1 and I recommend the standard aka 78mm batteries (280mah vs the 180mah charge of what you had - not a huge improvement but about 65% longer charge). And I strongly recommend manuals for the best hit (as well, they are harder to damage or kill with juice leaks).

Vapor4Life - I recommend the single logo manuals wit the custom 10-13 second cutoff (allow longer drags than the 5 second cutoff of other KR808D-1 models)

    or

SmokelessImage - Rubberized, 40mah longer charger (320mah for the 78mm battery which makes 120mm ecig). Better sealed threaded end on the manuals, a bit safer to pocket in tight pants since their button is small and partially recessed, 4 second cutoff (so only press the button in 1 second before you start dragging so you have 4 seconds left for drag)

They can use cartos from Vapor4Life. SmokelessImage, Bloogplanet, Halocigs G6 as well as their blank cartos and I recommend juices around 80PG/20VG (that's what SmokelessImage uses in their prefills, also similar to Vapor4Life WOW and Nobacco juices).

if you want more battery charge or hit than that then you should go fat battery like Ego, Riva 510, or a mod like E-power. The fat batteries and mods can also use hotter low resistance atomizers and cartomizers (almost all are blanks - you would be filling them).

I have an eGo passthrough. You can vape while it's plugged into a USB, or unplug and vape. It is inexpensive, around $20, but doesn't come with cartos or juice, so those are extra. Just my :2c:

will order that for sure :p, any recommended website to order online that passthrough? and does it only work for ego?

Welcome to ECF! All of the above suggestions are good ones. I noticed that you stated that you'd like it to look like an analog cigarette. I understand that as most people new to vaping and trying to quit analogs think they want something that mimics a "real" cig. To be honest, I thought that before I lurked here a bit and discovered that most of the quality e-cig products, in fact, do not look like an analog. I also discovered that I really didn't care. I just wanted to quit smoking. With that said, I currently have a Joytech 510 that does the trick for me. It's a bit smaller than the other suggestions (more the size of an analog) and so far it gives me what I'm looking for as an alt. to analogs. Whatever you decide on I hope you have as much luck with vaping as I have had.

Very interested, only thing is that i heard the 510 battery dosent last much. So I was wondering the ego t 1100. Heard its decent , but I really dont want problems with leaking...

Leaking is a factor of what you put on it, not the battery.

If atomizer tanks leak for you, use cartomizers or try carto tanks. I think about 50% of Ego-T buyers switch to cartomizers for various reasons, probably mostly because atomizers can be hard to keep working as good as new (and tank attys are not cheap) but cartomizers are new every time. I am not sure but I think the A tube size of tank atty and tanks may be the ones more prone to leaking. The other issue is wick placement - the Ego T atty wick may need to be adjusted to get the wicking somewhere between burning taste and leaking. I don't use them but some like the tanks.

Most of the vapors on this forum will tell to get a bigger battery. I agree but having said that there nothing wrong with a small cigarette like battery. Even if you get four or five of them to last you through the day it is cheaper and better that smoking. Vaping isn't like going to the convenience store and buying a pack of cigarettes because there are so many choices. It's all about what works for you.

These are some of you choices.

The bigger the battery the longer it will last..

Cartomizers and cartridges come in various ohms. The lower the ohms the more hit flavor and Smoke you will get. Unfortunaly the lower the ohms the more watts or power power it will use. Thus shorter battery life,

The liquid is glyceryn, propylene glycol, nicotine and flavoring. More pg gives you more hit. More vg gives more smoke. The most common mix around is 70% pg and 70% pg.

Batteries also come in different voltages and as variable volt batteries. The higher the voltage the more hit, smoke and flavor. The lower volts you use the longer the battery will work. The battery voltage and it's working voltage may not be the same. For instance an eGo is sold as a 3.7 volt battery but its working voltage is around 3.2 volts.

My suggestion would be a Joye eGo variable volt battery with around 2.5 to 3.0 ohm cartomizers.

    Such as this.

It actually is the eGo. This particular one has the plug on one end for the USB.Here is one place to get it, only $16.99, and you can get a 5-pack of cartos and recieve a free bottle of juice with your order. There are other places to get it, but not sure if you can get that good of a deal.

eGo 510 650mAh USB Passthrough Battery

ADDED: The eGo uses the 510 threading, which is a popular one, for upgrades and more choices.
