I bought a cobra several weeks ago and I really love mine. My first mesh wick and coil went really well. About two weeks later had to replace the mesh because my coil was to tight and burned through it (at least from what it looked like) and wasn't letting me recoil very easily. This time it didn't go so well, took a lot of patience and work, plus a third wick, but now it is working great again.
I also use the novas and have rewicked them with U-Shaped mesh wicks, I feel they give the better flavor for me. Only problem is they can be quite fiddly because of shorts and such, but plenty of tinkering and once you get it going it works great. Still pretty new to this myself so should get easier in time.
Good luck, the cobra is really nice. Made of titanium, so light but sturdy. Small air hole (I believe 1 mm) gives a tighter draw which I like, tighter then the novas. Also the dual o ring is really nice, fits snug and if to snug it loosens once some liquid is on there, and it allows you to adjust the throat it to your preference, and the top doesn't seem loose can easily pick it up by the top cap without worry.
P.S. I have also been looking at other atomizers and the only other that has caught my eye is the bliss, they will also be coming out with a titanium version but it is more expensive then the cobra. Right now if I was able to pull the trigger I would probably just go for another cobra.
