I really like mine. The carts and attys are a bit tweaked from the standard 510 carts and attys. I get better flavor from the Magma attys then from my 510 attys. You can use the attys with the Ego or standard 510 batteries. I've had mine for 4 months, and none of the batteries or attys have died. the PCC is very nice as well.

Hope that helps!

I'm a pretty big fan of mine too. I carry both a Volcano and a Magma with me all the time. I've had mine for a couple of months, and haven't lost a part yet. Been using the same atty for over a month and it's still going strong, much easier break in than the 510 atty I have.

If you're interested in a 510, I don't think you'll be disappointed in the Magma.

For the Magma users out there, I have a questions regarding their batteries. I am trying to find out what the cutoff time is on the auto batteries and what the voltage is under load. Volcano has not answered these questions, though I have asked a couple of times, and it is the differance in whether I buy one or not. Most of the 510 batteries I have seen, and own, are 3.1v under load and have no cutoff time. While the no cutoff time is very nice, the 3.1v is fairly lackluster. My hope is that their batteries actually measure up and produce 3.6v - 3.7v under load as my box mod does. I know the battery life wont be the same, but the whole reason I want one is the PCC. Coolest PCC I have seen yet. Any info would be appreciated.

To the OP, sorry for the thread hijack. I just didnt want to create another thread inquiring about the Magma when one already existed.

Happy Vaping!:vapor:

The Magma is an outstandinf 510 model PV. As far as the voltage is concerned, I have done a simple test using my DVOM on their batteries and found that the push 4.0v under no load and 3.6-3.8 under load. Their PT pushes 4.97 under no load and a solid 4.7 under load. Cant ask for more than that out of a standard size batt. And just in case anyone is wondering, their attys come in at 2.6-2.8 ohms

My Next question would then be in regards to the PCC itself. Can you fit an atomizer with cart inserted in any of the holes in the PCC? I know its supposed to fit a battery in the charger hole, a charged battery, and atomizer and a few carts. However, I am trying to gauge whether it can hold a 510 cartomizer (about the same size as a atomizer with cart inserted)

Oh and any word on cutoff time on the auto batts? ie. How long will it stay activated until it stops even if you keep sucking on it?

The Magma looks interesting. About what are the dimensions?

Thanks for the feedback. Why do you carry both?

The are different types of PV and work differently. They both have their strong points. I use the Volcano for the quick, I just want one puff, one or two hits and put it away. The Volcano does this beatifully as it has an auto battery and rather small cart and is small enough to hide in your hand. It likes to sit for a few minutes between uses anyway. The Magma is great for the I'm going to be here for a bit and will vape for a while and want to fog the whole room type vaping. Mine are manuals and it has a much larger cart. I'm sure either one could take the place of the other, but I already have both, might as well make use of the best of both.

Just as importantly, I'm over 50, so it helps me to remember that the little one is vanilla and the big one is watermelon. Fewer surprises that way!

It has one hole that holds an atty with cart. I can also fit the 510 cartos where the cartridges are supposed to go. I carry two batteries, an assembled atty with cart and five filled cartos in my pcc.

I don't really take long drags off the autos, but I just inhaled for 8 seconds with the light lit. It stops right away when I stop inhaling.

The PCC fits 5 carts, one atty w/ a cart and 2 batteries. One of the battery slots also is where it charges from. The cut off time on an auto is somwhere around 6 secs. I havent used one since I first got it, love the manual batts much more.

Can you use manual batteries in that PCC without modification? I was under the impression that the inside was hard plastic and difficult to mod for use with manual batteries.

Some users say yes, mine do not. You can make it work pretty easy(but voids the PCC warranty) Remove the foam divider, witha small file make a slot in the charging hole's wall about 1/8" wide all the way to the bottom. When you screw the battery in, make sure the button is in the notch you made. Also, dont forget to put the foam back in, you can reglue it if you like.
