Considering a Smoketek SID - Confused on batteries

Shoot. A few posts back someone posted they use the Panny 3400mAh. Maybe it was this one.

This is what I have been using in my SID and Zmax for about 9 mo no problem at all. They are fine for a regulated device.

I just found this on a site selling the SID:

The new anodized SiDs do not have the logo on the battery cup. the button still has the same emblem as they did for the now out of production rubberized SiD. I believe we have just updated our picture before the other places have. smok Tech did not offer to put the logo on these anodized SiD's nor did we ask them to. I assure everyone however that these are genuine smok Tech product.

Not happy about this. I was hoping to get the textured version but it may be acrap shoot ordering online.

Efest IMRs. Also, you can get different sized battery casings for 18650, 18500, and 18350. Just incase you want a smaller size later on.

Where does one get a smaller tube to use the 18350 on a SID ?

Weird? I'm 100% certain mine has a texture like rubber.

They sell anodized black and the rubber ones (like ego batts) I now have both. I didn't find it "as slippery as an icecube" but I do like the rubberized version better
