Hello all. Im new to eCigs, got my first about a week ago (Blu) and Im not very satisfied with it. The flavors are nice, but it feels too light. I feel like im not getting enough vapor past the first couple hits, and it seems im going through carts too fast. Ive been reading this forum for a while, and everyone seems to advise getting a 510, and Volcano seems to get good reviews.

From what I understand, the Volcano Magma is a 510, and is bigger/has more juice, which means I should get better hits and more vapor from it. Im considering putting about $100 into this, getting the Magma Deluxe starter kit, an extra Atomizer, and a manual battery, so i can try out to see how i like to do it.

Before I order, id like to hear from people who have this, to kind of confirm im making the right choice here. Im looking for convenience, I dont want to have to refil the liquid (but i like to have that option if i decide to) I like the idea of prefilled carts.

Also, how is the service from this company? How fast to they ship, etc? If I order tonight, and get the 2day Fedex, Am i looking at getting it friday? (basically they say 24 hour turn around, but are they fast about it, as in a couple hours after the order, or do they really take 24 hours before they ship?)

Hi! Welcome to ECF!
My limited understanding is that the volcano and blu are the basically same thing and neither one is great. My noob advice: go fish.
PS: you can get an eGo starter kit for less $$ than that and end up with a better PV with really great battery life (that's what I'm using BTW)

ALSO: I couldn't get what I wanted out of my 510 carts until I replaced the filling with rite-size U blue foam......FWIW

I have a Magma and I like it, so far. I've had mine about three weeks and use it daily. Volcano's shipping is about 4 days to Texas, so I think its pretty good. The customer service is great, and they have their own forums where you can get a lot of info and help with their devices. If i had it to do over, I don't think I'd get the kit, I'd just buy all the parts. The box really isn't that valuable to me but maybe to others. Their carts are ok, but they don't have apple or watermelon, so I buy my juice elsewhere (Vapor Station).

so is it easy to buy juice and refil themagma carts? With this blue foam stuff? Im pretty new to vaping, but i like it so far, notwithstanding my experience with blu, which works ok, just seems like the carts dont last as long or produce enough vapor.

Im just hoping that the Magma is a good starting point for me being new to this. I just placed my order, got the starter deluxe kit, and extra pack of carts, a manual battery and extra atomizer, so i could get my total over 100 for the fedex free shipping.

I also own a magma and I really enjoy it. I started with the original volcano (just like the your blu) and wasn't completely satisfied. My one grip with the magma is that from what I have read only volcanoes magma carts are guaranteed to fit it while other 510 carts are hit or miss. This is a problem for me since the magma carts from volcano come with foil which can be a pain to open and for the life of me can't find a cap to put on them that doesn't leak once I refill them. Other 510 carts come with a rubber cover which I would be able to reuse. I do refill my own carts with the blue foam and even though there is a learning curve I do seem to be getting the hang of it. If I could do it all over again I would probably get a 510 kit from another vendor. If you have any other questions about the magma let me know!

I also have a Magma. I got it about a month ago and it's been my one and only PV so far. With a blue foam plug it works great for me. Got the USB passthru recently....works awesome. I know there are alof of units out there but I chose Volcano because of their customer service, BBB rating, them being US based, and for their professional and easy to use website. I really can't complain about anything with them and so far, it's all I need.

Magma carts are now available with caps and they also sell the caps separately. The Magma atty's are nice but so far the only carts that fit right seem to be the Magma ones. I've tried a couple dozen old and new 510 carts with no luck finding any that fit aside from the ones I got in the kit. Even tried some 901 carts with no luck. The one thing that is nice is when you swap out the polyfil with the blue foam, it works much better and seems to hold a tad more juice than a old 510 cart.

As to their PCC, it's got some really slick features like an LED flashlight built in and space for plenty of spare batts, attys, and carts . I like it in general but i find that everything is really packed in close to each other which makes it a ..... to get the battery screwed in or out. The size of the PCC is a little too big to fit in my work shirts pockets but fits fine in my regular clothes. I use a Boge Mystic 750 compact PCC at work and the Magma PCC elsewhere.

I wasn't much of a 510 fan for a while and got rid of most of my old stuff a while back. It's starting to make a comeback with me since the 510 cartos came out though.
