I've had some cartomizers that I've refilled countless times and MANY others that burn out after the first or second fill.

They are ALWAYS topped off frequently so it definately is not due to hitting them dry.

I'd say i've had about 60% good carts and the rest were defective (good for initial fill but not much after that)

I don't think there is an actual answer for the question, and believe me, I have tried to sort it out.

They all have the same guts inside....and I've never been able to come up to a real conclusion.

However anybody with experience in 3 piece designs will know the "atomizer struggle". Atomizer life span is NOT predictable. Some fizzle out after a week, some are still going a year later. Even the most experienced 510 user will never be able to master just where and when the beloved atomizer will die.

It's like the caramilk secret, but it's the nature of the beast.

We've also all got in on the ground floor of vaping, so who knows what improvements are around the corner.

:)

Not sure if its anybody being secretive, just more like an acceptable "frustration" that we've all sort of try to pretend it doesn't exist...lol.

North America has mastered batteries, cart mods and juice...but you cannot find one North American based business that can mass produce atomizers that are predictable.

ok so this is an issue others have...just wanted to know that.

Why so secretive...no one ever mentioned this before...some carts are reusable some arn't. Fine.
It has been mentioned numerous times. There is much room for improvement on all levels of the ecig industry. When a supplier makes a consistently reusable cart--they will be RICH, but will be more expensive. V4L is working on ultimate carts, maybe we'll have better luck with those!

Thanks Kimmy...I subscribed to that thread just so I can have proof that I can be REALLY, REALLY mean....lol.

Yeah, I wanted to respond to that, but can't think of something helpful to say.

While I've no problem with Liberal thinking and ideas, offering "support" to those simply considering vaping for reasons other than quitting analogs is silly, and downright irresponsible. It's blood on our hands if we contribute to the onset of someones addiction.

PS...sorry to hijack the thread. Back to your original programming.

It has been mentioned numerous times.

I've posted a few threads about burning out carts and no one ever replied it could be a faulty cart:rolleyes:

I have been following refill procedures EXACTLY and have been going nuts trying to figure out why some carts burn after 1 or 2 fills...wish someone would have just posted...."yea, they are hit and miss with quality"

Not a big deal...they're cheap.

Guess people just considered it was common knowledge. ;)

When it happens just keep in mind how much cheaper they are than cigarettes and the fact they are made in China.

Indeed! An entire box of bad 510 attys (during my first week of vaping!) got me here to V4L. I've never had anything like that level of inconsistency with any cartomizer batch. Only one with an oddly difficult draw out of (looks at large jar of empties) well, many cartos used to date!
