Not quite the same, but I've taken to mentholated juices since cutting to 3mg and below. It's not quite a cig-like throat hit, but it FEELS like something, which is good. Honestly, I've never been a big fan of the throat-hit with vaping, be it from PG or nicotine, so it's a decent enough replacement.

Also, Rob makes a good point above - not all juices are created equal. I vape "crispy" from Artisan Clouds at 3mg and the throat hit can be massive at certain (lower) wattages.

What's the VG/PG ratio? Sometimes going up on the PG will help give a bit more of a throat hit.

That was my first thought, increase the PG. You can also try a tobacco based juice with an intentionally peppery flavor like MEL's Red Rider.

Mister-E-Liquid "Red Rider" Premium E-Liquid

I buy their tobacco line at 100%PG@24nic. Then I add my own VG (just got a liter from Nicotine River in the mail today to try theirs out) to make it 50/50@12nic or 75/25@6 nic. I just noticed MEL has an "add ice" option with three levels which I assume is menthol flavoring. I bet some high PG peppery menthol tobacco flavor would give you some serious throat hit, lol.

+1 on the coffee flavors for throat hit. Anything that has a bitter flavor to start with is bound to pack a vaping wallop.

Challenge there is finding a coffee vape that doesn't taste like crap. Sadly, all of the coffee vapes I've enjoyed have also managed to be stupidly smooth.

I wanted to add that some juices tend toward what I can best describe as a dry mouth feel - not exactly accurate, but think of the opposite of a warm, wet vape. I find these "drier" juices tend to smack pretty hard, irrespective of their flavour/profile.

Nic`d Up in Oklahoma!
I have found that the throat acclimates itself, becomes dull, too throat hit as the vaping session is extended. And there is very little if anything that can be done about it. You can do a lot of things to increase it with the initial vape, but it will still diminish as the vaping session goes on. The best way I have found to get a better throat hit is to take 30-60-90 minute pause`s in between vaping sessions.

Mix these together: Osdiy One Stop DIY Shop Pink lemonade 8% and Blue Raspberry Slush 3% 60pg/40vg. It's more than a throat hit, it's like Chuck Norris kicks you in the throat!! Lololol. Buy a small bottle of koolada to play around with.
Also "Blackberry Mojito"
0.5% FA Lime Tahiti (cold pressed)
0.5% FA Lime Tahiti (distilled)
3% Flavor West Mojito
3% TFA Mojito
3% TFA Mojito Havana
1% FA Blackberry
1% FA Bilberry

I use 50/50 in a lot of my MTL tanks for some TH. Plus it helps increases the flavor of the juice especially for vaping at low wattages. An Extream or Ice Menthol juice will definitely make it "Pop" . A good coffee vape or a tart citrus or lemonade flavor can help as well.

There is also the Nautilus .7 ohm coil you can try out. Works in the Triton mini also.

I don't search for throat hits, as that's something I don't necessarily crave (and it would be hard to get since I use Max VG (sensitive to PG) in a small, MTL device. I do find some flavors seem to "hit" me better, and the mints are one of them, so I'd second the menthol idea. Switching up flavors does help me "taste" my e-juice better, which is kind of the replacement for "throat hits".

I will say I really enjoyed flavors using the nautilus 0.7 coil in my Nautilus 2, it really provided a great flavor with still the ability to MTL at right airflow and wattages, so it might be worth a try, if you haven't. Have not tried the 0.7 in my Kabuki tank, though of course I am going to.... Experimentation is going to be the name of the game I think, though you've gotten some really good recommendations on this thread...

Best of luck!
