What was the first car you ever purchased?

Simply post your very first car you ever bought and any fun stories related to it. Your first post officially qualifies you. Once you have officially entered, every post after that qualifies as a chance to win as well! The more posts, the more chances to win!

There will be 3 winners. Each winner will recieve a 30ml. bottle of Goodejuice eliquid, your choice of flavor and nicotine strength.

As per my previous contests, winners will be chosen via random.org when the contest is over.

Contest will end Friday, March 23rd, 2012 at 12:00AM CST. The winners will be announced that day.

Good Luck To Everyone!

My first car was a 1985 Buick Riviera. bought it for $2500. Silver with maroon leather seats. This thing was like driving around in your living room. Man I miss that car. lol started burning to much oil and had to dump it. Wonder whatever happened to that thing.:2cool:

 My first car of "my very own" was a used 1976 Vega ! It was Silver and a 3 speed. Had red interior and the passenger bucket seat tilted towards the door so bad anyone that sat in it had to lock the door so they wouldn't fall out !!!:lol::lol::lol: That car was good to me though, I have to say. Drove it many a mile and used it as a trade in for my first Brand New Truck !!! :D

First car was a 1975 Oldsmobile Regency 98 for $400. Talk about driving around around in a living room! This thing was huge. It could seat 7 people (3 in front seat, 4 in back), sometimes more with girls sitting on guys' laps. It had a 455 cubic inch V8 and would burn through some gas, good thing it was less than a dollar a gallon back then.

The first car I ever owned was a 1969 Chevy Impala 4-door with a 327 ci and 2-speed PowerGlide trans. It was a boat on wheels. But that is not what you asked. You wanted to know the first car we bought, and this was a parental hand me down.

My friend was selling a car for $200. He had worked on it, and now it didn't run right. It barely ran at all. Being 16, I didn't know what was wrong, so my dad came over to look with me. He pulls the air filter off, and checks the float. Seems fine. Then my dad says for me to try starting it. I give it a couple pumps then crank the engine. BOOM, it backfires out the carb, sending a fireball up to lick my father's forehead. He pulls back, banging the back of his head on the hood. I learned a few words that day. I also learned that my friend put his distributor in backwards (I still don't know why he took it out). My dad removed the screw, cussing all the while, and turned the distributor 180 degrees. In about two minutes he had the car back together, closed the hood and said, "Try it now."

The car ran like a dream. It was a 1969 Chevy Nova with a three speed on the floor. I bought it for $200, and gave my dad back the Impala.

My first car was a '75 plymouth duster, loved it til it died a couple months later *facepalm* I wasn't ready to let it go, so it got parked at my granma's, time went on and years passed, we needed money so I ended up selling it (still regret that to this day) but the day before the guy was going to come and take it away I went in to the backseat and took the middle seatbelt and made into a belt, so the car is still with me everyday ^_^

The First Car I Ever Bought - was actaully not for me, but for my mother . . .

While I was in High School, I was working part-time as a bank teller (work study program - half day school & half day work) and Our family car broke down. At the time, 1971 - My mother was working as a "Newspaper Distrubutor" (getting the local newspaper to the Newspaper Delivery boys - evenings & weekends) and needed the car. The School nurse was selling the car for $300.00 - it was a 1960's White 2 door sedan (I can't remember the Maker or Model) that her family called "The Tank" because it really was so old, but still ran like it's name . . . SO, I purchased it for her as a "Surprise" Christmas present . . .

BTW: The First car I ever owned was a 60's VW BUG ! ! ! (Hippie days . . .  )
That DIED too early, because I was "dumb" enough not to remember to put oil in . . . :(
