I've played since '81. My best guitar was a Gibson SG Special in alpine white I bought in '83. My ***** ex husband hocked it!

I have:
Ovation Celebrity Deluxe
Burny SG copy, lawsuit, in alpine white of course
Dillion LP copy in blue curly maple
Cherry SG copy with P90s
Acoustic/electric 12 string
Beater acoustic for taking to other's houses

Mostly write my own songs but influenced by classic rock, especially the blues based guitarists.

Nice, Roxy!
Classic rock and folk were my earliest influences. Love jazz and blues.
Most of what I play are my own songs, as well.
My Ovation is an older acoustic/electric (amplified acoustic?) Pinnacle with dark brown back, instead of black.
We should start a vaper's guitar porn thread on this site!;)

Mind you, Clark.....I wasn't talking ABILITY....so much as STYLE....
ANY ONE on your list has more artistic TALENT in their little finger than most folks have in their whole body!!:D
Still.....Roy's rendition of "Malaguana" never ceases to knock my socks off!!;)
Happy (vaping) Trails!

Roy Clark - Malaguena
....liked that! :)

From your shortlist, Can't say I immediately recognise them all, but out of them, I love these:

Brian May from Queen
Carlos Santana
David Gilmour
Eddie Van Halen
Jeff Beck
Eric Clapton
Jimi Hendrix

Plus Mark Knopfler ....and a few others :)

I also have a CD with a good recording of House of the Rising Sun, and when I want to clear my head I play it so it makes the rafters rattle!

I like the Robby Krieger shout out. He was a great player who doesn't get a ton of credit. Always liked his riffs.

EDIT: Wow did this thread go off course or what? :)
