Okay, so it isn't always sunny in Southern California during the winter.... and when a 1/4 of an inch is expected to fall, the local news likes to provide "team coverage" during "Storm Watch." During the last storm, no fewer than three reporters covered the developing story of traffic headed into the mountains so that people could play in the dusting of snow we got.

It's 3 degrees F, snowing like crazy, and it's going to snow until Tuesday afternoon with frigid temperatures. Nope, I don't like winter at all!!!

The one thing I like about Winter is my Christmas Cactus blooming... although it has been confused with all of the crazy weather we have been having...

I've had it for years, but it didn't bloom until Easter one time... and last year I didn't even get any buds at all!!

I gave it a nice shower in the sink to get all the dust off, so I think it's happier now!!
One opened for New Year's Day this time and the rest fell off... but there are some more coming along.
