The other GA, senator, Chambliss is retiring. The party in the majority leads these committees and decides what legislation moves forward. If the majority changes after the mid-term election, it is much less likely these regulations will ever move forward.
Well that's good news, as far as I'm concerned, I never did like Chambliss, he seems like a reactionary old so-and-so. So what party is currently in the majority? I'd definitely want to vote the other way, to shake things up in there and maybe derail or at least delay this deeming BS, until such a time as the vast majority really understand what BS it is. Because even though smokers/vapers are definitely a minority, I really do think that most Americans are aware of and concerned about gov't over-reach, and once they understand that vaping is harm reduction and that FDA is just trying to protect some really deadly products, I think they'd be on our side.
