I hate to use the word "convert' because it makes it sound like some sort of Cult that we are in.... 'The Vapers'... :vapor: LOL!!
I prefer to say "introduced", because that's all you really can do... the rest is up to them :2cool:

In the 9 months that I have been vaping, the count is up to 8 now, and I am working on few more... Between handing out ECF cards and disposables, I have also been able to give out a few kits that I have won in contests here, or pass on some great sales on starter kits through the wonderful suppliers (including V4L).

I don't have much money, but I have been very lucky, and am always happy to share what I have with my friends...

Wouldn't say converts as much as introducing them to vaping JC sir (hope that's correct, my brain is somewhat shot)... At school I've introduced 6 people to vaping, looks like 3 are going to make the switch.... No pressure involved at all... Would just join the people outside on smoke breaks and vape, that was enough to spike an interest. Brought two extra batts and a few cartos of nuport wow and have been letting them try it for a night (also give them a v4l card and tell them to check out ecf and this sub forum)... That way they can judge for themselves if it's a good alternative for them or not.... :)

Well, I haven't actually 'converted' anyone yet, but I sure do have a lot of people in my family curious, and that is a start! Curious so much, that I am now referred to as 'Father Ecig' within the ranks of my family!

It really has me confused-a, because I don't know what they are talking about-a, whenever they light up-a, I'm right there-a, to walk them to the path of glory and righteousness-a, to embrace their health-a, never to walk again the lonely road of stink-a, to break free the bonds of sinny-sin-sin-a... hallelujah! :nun:

I've "converted" four people to vaping thus far, but three of the four are still using analogs some of the time. I had a tough time going straight from smoking to vaping, so I tell people that hubby had a much easier time doing both for a while. There's a learning curve to vaping, and I think it helps to take it slowly.

I'm still working on my sister...she's a tough sell, like me (or a tough somethin'-or-other). All I've had to do is tell people about it, and let them try it. V4L pretty much sell themselves.

I have introduced 2 but converted none. I hope that they choose to quit smoking, but that is their battle. I agree with Rappel, it took me a couple of weeks to quit analogs so I could learn what I needed to know, dial in a nic level and get comfy with vaping. As for the rest of the smokers I know...YOU WILL BE ASSIMILATED. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE. LOL :)

I've introduced it to about7-8 smokers. A few were excited about it and bought kits, but gave up very early on. Recently 2 of my co-workers decided to give it a try. I pointed them to this forum/sub, V4L, etc. Offered to be available to answer any questions they might have, and so on. So far, no one has converted, but I still have hope. I only discuss it with people who inquire, tho.

Isn't it? I just picture-texted it to four purple. I hope mad does not mind too much!

Bogey no matter how hard you try..sometimes you just can't help those that don't want to help themselves...
They have to want it. I don't try as hard as I used to. Over-zealousness has backfired on me already. You would've thought I was on commission the way I talked sometimes!

I've converted 12 people. I'd say don't push, when you push you push away, promote through attraction and let your success draw them to you.
Correct Mr. Max! (I almost clicked the like button - OMG!) I have had better results just quietly leading by example. When people that have always known you to be a smoker see you give it up so easily and happily, and without turning into a monster...it's the best advertisement for the vaping lifestyle (yes, I have decided it is a lifestyle - we have our own language and everything!) there is.
