I'm finally done cleaning, except for laundry. There's always laundry though. I won't be caught up with that til the kids move out. Atleast I hope they move out one day.
I, a bachelor, divorced, am
never finished with laundry. I don't know how y'all with family do it.
I moved out at 17. Well, I was escorted to an intervention (wilderness) program in Utah during winter. Then to Mexico for 1 year. I came home when I was 19. I turned 18 in wilderness on "Night Hike"- 23 miles in one night, by yourself. One person starts down the 'trail' every 15 minutes. The trail is marked w/ chem lights every mile or so (at some points you couldn't hear Shi). You had 1 quart of water, GORP (super healthy trail mix) and peanut butter. A support truck came by every hour or so to check on kids. If you caught up to someone, or someone caught up with you-NO TALKING or communicating. It was intense!!
I came home wanting NOTHING to do with my Mother. Found an apartment, broke the lease to move in with some friends. Went through girls and more drugs like crazy, back in touch with Moms, somehow went and got married, fought a lot, divorced, sold my house after 4 or 5 years of living there after the divorce.
My Mother retired to Merida, Mexico. She was going to sell the Houston house but didn't want to. So I propositioned her to stay in it, take care of it, pay 'rent' (a hefty amount) in to a 'house bank account'.
So I moved out. But I moved back in. My Mother's here visiting. 3 weeks! She leaves on Thursday. Bless her heart, I love her to death. But sometimes she drives me insane!
