Howdy folks!

I decided to go to bed at 4 this morning. COMPLETELY lost track of time thanks to Assassin's Creed 3. Mrs E went to work at like 6 or so. Got up at 8 when the kids woke me up. Somehow I managed to get them all dressed and out the door in time to get Kat to Sunday school. Got home and Kat asked me to put her hair in a pony tail. Mrs E didnt put the vacuum cleaner away. Naturally, I thought of JD's post a few weeks ago. But the vacuum had nearly zero suction. I take it apart and the filters are beyond clogged. I took it outside and powered up the air compressor and stripped the thing down. I even removed the brush roller that had so much dog hair tangled around it, you could barely see the bristles. Cleaned it all up and put it back together then put BOTH of the girls hair in a pony tail with it. It really works!!! I was going to have red beans and rice again for lunch, but Kat all but begged me for it. So I had a cheddar bacon stuffed baked 'tater.

Now the kids are outside playing, so Im going to crack open a new book, then its gonna be nap time as soon as Mrs E gets home.

Hey Tiff, could you give me a recommendation for a decent nail trimmer for Xena? My big dogs all had black nails, so I left it up to the vet to do the trimming. Xena's are easy to see, and tiny, and I'd like to get her used to it while she is still little. Although it might have to wait until she's not quite so squirmy...

Thanks!! :)

buy a pair of cat nail clippers (scissor type) at Walmart. They're the perfect size for a Chih. Try to get her to let you do atleast a few at a time to get her used to it. My granny's chih's will bite the snot out of anyone but me if they do the nails. I use a dremel on theirs though.

Just found Morgan giving Fiona a haircut. I just cleaned the bathroom. The haircut is pretty good though.

Really? I thought the scissor kind would crack/split their nails?
