I'm back from my grandmas. Did some deep cleaning over there, baseboards, cobwebs, fans, vents, fun stuff. Went to lunch with her and then picked up Morgan. The home bound teacher is here now working with Alex. She seems very nice. But it does seem that the Chemistry teacher at school isn't being very flexible about him being on home bound. That will be resolved tomorrow after I make a phone call to the special ed coordinator at the school. I don't want standards lowered, but from what his parapro told me, she doesn't feel it is necessary for him to be on home bound. It's not her business or her decision. When she gets a degree in psychiatry and deems herself an expert on autism, I will take her opinion into consideration. Until then, she just needs to do the job required of her. /rant

I'll have to catch up with the thread in a little bit. Hope you are all having a wonderful day!

Oh to be 35 again...If I could go back to any age it would be 35...Tell him to enjoy it...It's fleeting...
Neither would I. GROSS!!!

Good Afternoon Posse!

Hubby turned 35 today so I most likely will not be back on later tonight.

Dad didn't have much for me to do today so I'm relaxing in front of the computer and cruising for deals...lol!

I know but at least they will get to the bottom of what she's allergic to.
Nap time didnt go as well as I wanted. I still got one, but not as much as I hoped. Mrs E called me to pull up the name of our family doc since she couldnt remember it. Then she sent me a picture of Melanie's back as soon as they administered the allergy test. The pic of my baby's back full of dozens of pin ...... broke my heart.

I had a doctor tell me once I showered to much he said our body's should be washed twice a week anymore we are damaging our skin and made a caveman didn't have shower comment, then he took a biopsy and informed me to change my detergent. I never went back but learned some detergent has a embalming chemical in it I'm allergic to, And that he was crazy!

From my phone
I quit a Dr when we lived in Hawaii. I won't say what he recommended since he was an ob/gyn, but will say it was rather odd. Oh, and he told me they found "pre-cancerous cells" after doing a standard test. Scared the bejeebers out of me, so I had the test re-done at the Navy Dr, they said everything was fine. Confirmed the other Dr was a fruit loop. :glare:

No naps here just slaving away. one of the girls at the po retiring today after 39 years. Bummer now we have to break another one in.
Wow, one of our carriers retired today after 39 years! :) There's going to be a little party for him Saturday after work, should be fun! :toast:

Twice a week huh? I don't think I'd like to stand next to that Dr. LOL
I've heard that showering every day isn't good for people, but not to cut back to twice a week! EWWW!

I find my little merit badge annoying....
You can get rid of them! Go down to the bottom of this page, and on the blue bar on the left hand side you'll see a little drop-down menu. Click on that and choose "Kirsch 2". It's very similar to the standard one, but you won't see any of the badges! :)

Whew. And now Charli has had a bath. We dont know what she keeps getting into outside, but every so often, she comes in smelling like a turd. I would like to hope its not as simple as "Hey, its a pile of poop, let me roll in THIS!"

Hellz yeah! You tell that lady off!

Then come to Clover. I'll bypass the dog grooming and exchange it for a house cleaning. And in turn, I will offer a creation I am going to attempt tomorrow. Half beef half bacon burger, topped with cheddar and provalone, served on a "bun" of fried mac 'n' cheese (the bun is the part I need to figure out first). Served with home fries.

Good advice...She'll smell like a salad for a day or two but it just might work.
I wasnt going to say anything.

So, it turns out that the items that create the highest reaction are chocolate and green peas.

Did you get power back? I think we got lucky. I dont believe power even flickered. It didnt stop Mrs E from lighting a dozen candles all around the house though. She denies it, but I think shes scared of the dark.
Yep, came back about 1am.

awwww, poor kid. Morgan and I have both had it done and it's no fun.

Morgan had allergy shots for 5 years. Yes, 5 years. Didn't do a thing.

O not a bad vape kinda hope moms don't like it.

Glad power is back on for ya. That storm was enough to convince me to go get the plugs I needed to make a power cable to run from the generator to a 220v outlet in the house to backfeed the house. You cant use it to run the HVAC, stove, or clothes dryer, but it can run fridge, freezer, fans, lights, tv's, and well pump. Pretty much the whole house. If you need to use the stove, you just have to shut off every breaker except the stove. Its not as good as a $20k backup gen, but it will do the job.

I hope we dont have to resort to shots. Right now we dont. But we'll see. If it doenst help, Im going to take FV's advice on the clothes before we take her back to the doc.

Hmmmmm....Ma'am, you have yourself a deal. How about Oreo stuffed choc chip cookies? Or.... homemade icecream served over choc chip cookie dough brownies...?

I'm convinced shots are crud.

My good deed for the day was not pummeling a coworker. He is the most annoying aggravating man in the world. He knows everything and nothing at the same time. And loves to spew the bs from his mouth for 8 hours a day while we are trapped in his presence. It was so bad today, another coworker asked me to ” please punch him in the face”

I'm sorry I liked that. But I know exactly the kind of person you mean. I commend your will power. :toast:
