You lucked out...Glad it was a nice party though.

Wow, I get home from the retirement party, catch up, and everyone is heading to bed! It was a really nice party. Would you believe he got 100% turnout of all the people currently working in our office, plus several previous retirees.

It was a very nice ending to a day that started out kinda yucky. Got in the car to go to work, backed out of the driveway and it felt funny. Pulled back in, and looked at the front tire - flat. Turned out it had a leaky valve stem, which certainly beats having to get a new tire!

I'll be cleaning out my closet...I will however have the requisite "bar food" in celebration...

I am, and eating a ton of home-made "bar food". Football, funny commercials, Puppy Bowl, beer, and bar food. DOes it get any better?

What kinda bar food? I'll be getting a pizza. There's an awesome little pizza shop that's new (at least to me) not far from here. They don't deliver to my house, but they're still only ~7 minutes away. Great pizza and you can get "pizza insurance" for 50 cents and they donate half of the profit (I think profit, at least) from the whole order and put half of it to.... I can't remember which charity, but I'll check when I go get the pie.

And they have bacon cheese bread stick. Nomnomnom

Exactly! If you don't take out the insurance and get flamingoed (I highly doubt that's a word) you get to pay for flamingo removal service.
