Here's one of the two that I have found so far: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...08-stainless-steel-mesh-oxide-discussion.html

I'm still vaping my SS wick. Remember the coffee will give you cancer scare? They told everyone to go decaf. Then discovered that the process to decaf was dangerous, coffee was fine. I don't freak easy.

True on the coffee thing.

But this ain't coffee. Chromium and Cadmium aren't something you even want to risk messing with. Some of the colors in glass are colored using Chromium and Cadmium Oxides. OSHA requires insane ventilation standards when working with glass due to that and the Aluminum oxide off gassing from clear. I wouldn't even risk it, V. Heavy metal poisoning is serious business and can kill. At best give you Alzheimer's.

Do you know what Oxide is forming on your coil? Chromium. Why even risk it?

I don't scare easily, either. But from working with glass, I've seen some nasty .... and some ....ed up diseases from improper vent.

Just lookin' out.

At the price they have them listed at, why not. Just grab 1 or 2 and a 5 pack of heads. I promise you'll be impressed.

I got 3 of them and they're great! :) Very tasty, and I think will be replacing my Stardusts for a good "on the go" vape. So far, NO LEAKS!!! Some of my Stardusts would leak a bit at the battery end, pain in the neck.

I just got back from OSU..I was the last patient standing...OMG what a day...She has a vertebrae in her neck that doesn't reach the socket it should be in.They had to sedate her.Moved it into place. She's in a neck brace for 3 months. No movement and confined to her crate.. She's out of it now.She can barely move her eyes.I'm so tired I"m mean..

I don't know what the oxidation is on the wicks. I would like to see some test/lab results before I make any decisions. I think I will try a wick that isn't toasty on my next changing.

Prepare yourself for all this excitement... egg picture! Tiff, there are now olive green, pale green, blue, a few different shades of brown, and PINK! Not a single white egg, which means Lil Stretchy still won't lay an egg. Good thing she's pretty.

Adam Keep the chin up bro nice resting spot,

Stretch ((()))
BAmr (((())))
Heck GROUP (((()))))

Biggest complaint to date is they leak but mine didn't They made these because folks who vaped thick juice were getting dry hits with top feed attys, these are not I repeat not for thin juices, its a bottom feed atty above 50%pg your wasting your money, But all of the ones i had did not leak, tiff after the holiday everyone should have them. But there is a new improved already :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=dHOywpSXGEo

Hmmm dam guess i should go back to cigs? considering 1800 people died from smoking related illness this week alone i will keep using mesh.
I'm reading the SS Scare threads. blech.

Have a nice evening Okra!

I seem to have misplaced Mr. V. Weird.
I misplace Mr. Okra all the time.   Especially while shopping and I've got the cart.
They are bottom fed. They hold much less than a vivi, so you don't get burnt out taste buds. Not to mention, I get nasty, burned taste with Vivis and when they do work, very muted flavor. With the eVod, I don't get any muted flavor and they never give a burned, dry hit. They don't leak, either. Not to mention they're ~1/2 the price of Vivis.

The link is for Black eVods. Other colors are in stock. Blue:https://ivape.net/index.php/Kanger-eVod-Bottom-Coil-Changeable-Cartomizer-Blue.html
Other colors, including pink: https://ivape.net/index.php/Cartomizers.html?limit=20&limitstart=60

Under the stainless one the have 5 pack heads in different Ohms, too.
Those look interesting. Thanks for sharing the link Adam, I may just have to try one.
Well that explains why I couldn't find it. I'll have to look again next month.
Sorry about that Tiff. I thought you had seen that on the photo. The bear's cuteness distracted you didn't it? ;)

Pretty eggs!
I considered giving Victor a coffee bean, then decided it probably isn't a good idea.
I gave Bailey the new cat food my cats refused to eat. Is that bad to give a dog cat food???
